www.motorcycle-superstore.com/ is an A+ rated supplier of tires, tools, and accessories out of Medford, OR. ( BBB) I on Friday afternoon (4pm Pacific) ordered a Michelin S83 reinforced tire and a pair of tire spoons. Total order with shipping was $56. Confirmation was sent immediately. I received the tracking numbers by email on SUNDAY afternoon (I would ave expected at least Monday) They do not appear as of yet to have been picked up by UPS, but hey, it's barely noon there yet. --- I'll note that I had inquired with them before on information about another tire and tires in general. Over the course of a few mails back and forth, I always received a satisfactory and personal reply within a day or so. I was able to make a more informed decision about what tire I wanted to order based on my conversation with them (I had previously been looking at a Pirelli, but I decided I wanted a tubeless at least this time around). I already have positive vibes from their customer service. --- Their survey partner however I am not impressed with. The applet crashed my browser several times just trying to read the order confirmation (had to upgrade to Firefox 4), then went trotting into the survey to find the "$100 reward" was up to 4 magazine orders worth $100. I don't remember who the survey partner was but if I were MCSS I'd drop them like a brick. Don't bother with the survey unless you really want to give them a review, but even still, don't give the survey company any of your info. --- Short of that, so far a positive experience.

agreed. I've ordered gear from there and they're awesome. And no, dont waste time on the silly survey thing. They do carry some scooter parts.

I've ordered gear, parts and tires from them. Only one slight glitch; a jacket they sent had a stain. I let them know right away and they took it back, gave me a refund so not a problem.

I bought my too-cool scooter jacket from them and got a great price and low shipping, certainly compared to what I'm asked to pay for shipping things as small as lightbulbs from other vendors. This is where I plan to go when I'll eventually need tires, so I'm glad to hear that D-cat did the same. A higher recommendation does not exist!

Thanks for the review. you may want to consider a couple of 24" tire irons from Harbor freight. www.harborfreight.com/24-inch-general-purpose-tire-iron-93230.htmlthe spoons are OK for motorcycle tires. MC tires are not as stiff however as scooter tires. the longer irons give more leverage. I could never get scooter tires off and on the rims with the short 10" irons. good luck with your new tire.

I went for the 8" spoons because I didn't want sooo much leverage that I could damage the rim. The reviews were good and the price was right too.

Just as an FYI, my tire and irons came yesterday, on time and in good condition. Highly recommended.

I ordered a pair of summer weight riding gloves from them late afternoon on a Thursday, I checked my ups tracking info Friday on my way to the gym at 11am and found that they were on the truck to be delivered to my office. By the time I walked back in from my 1hr workout/lunch the gloves were in the shipping dept. at the office. Walked in and picked them up, and they were excellent quality. Talk about fast shipping and great service.
Looking at going with them to get the spanner wrench I need for my rear shocks now because of such a great experience.

Like Robo, as in "bot." Only 2 posts, and includes two lines of an unrelated link. I'm inclined to agree.
Back on the side track. I had fun getting the tire to inflate (see Tips and Tricks) but it looks good and it actually holds up okay in the rain. Yay Michelin! It's still nowhere near worn out but I'm considering the front tire now just for the traction; I almost lost it at Hampton Beach today, the road seemed extra slick on the S bend entering the back strip. The front was slipping and I made an unwanted lane change; if I still had the old tire on the back I'm fairly sure I would have been riding to the curb on my side, or injuring my groin staying up by my foot. At least there wasn't much traffic. Yeah; good tire, good price, happy customer.

Well I have to give credit where it is due. I ordered a couple of these Michelin tires for my Linhai 300 scooter: www.motorcycle-superstore.com/5/32/404/5941/ITEM/Michelin-Pilot-Sport-SC-Performance-Rear-Tire.aspxAnd even though they didn't have it in stock, they got them out to me within 2 business days, and the free shipping service was surprisingly fast. Arrived within 3 days total. I was impressed, not only with their service, but also with the quality of these tires on my scoot. Amazing ride. Highly recommended tire. Overall I feel their prices on the tires and other items are ok, not great. Other places had better prices. But service at Motorcycle Superstore is hard to beat.

I like Motorcycle Superstore too. I've ordered a couple tires, helmets and a jacket over the past two years. All went smoothly. They even handled the exchange on my first helmet without problems - the first one fit too tightly, so they shipped a larger one free just like they did the first. I just had to pay return shipping on my first helmet.
