Hi tom47,
Congrats on the new scoot. Have fun and be safe. I learned to ride when I was 60. Bought a scoot because gas prices were too high. Discovered I loved riding. Ride to work when weather is good. Took a riding vacation with my husband last year. Planning a long solo ride this year.

Gratz on the new scoot, had mine for 2 weeks now and can't get enough of it, 610 miles so far, would be double that if it would stop friggin raining.

Congratulations for having your own ride and finishing from Grad school. Yes it's worth to have one especially the non stop increasing of fuel. I have my scooter for 2 months now and even I had accident from it and having financial problems, I could not just give up my own scooter because it helps me in many ways...

Graduation time 6/18 and a ride planned for Father's Day! I've put about 150 miles on my scooter now...still loving it. Now I started looking for other scooters to ride with, I live near Davis, California. Thanks for the posts.

Congrats. X-2. I am 60 and enjoying my first scooter unless you count my Honda Cub in 1965. I am loving every second of it. We have 2 small (by todays standards) motorcycles and I find myself going for the scooter more often than the motorcycles. 150 ccs of basic transportation or, if you want, almost unlimited mods. to have fun with.

Not all significant other's to "hubby's" are female. FYI. Not saying anything about mwthomas though as I have no idea.
