This guy is riding from South America to Alaska on a motorcycle. It will set a new world record if he makes it. How far will these chinese scooters go? Would a cross country trip be good for a chinese scooter, or do you think it would go dead before ever getting half way? Attachments:

Depends on the scooter and how well it's maintained, that guys not just going to jump on his motorcycle and ride from South America to Alaska, he's going to have to keep up maintenance on that bike the whole way.

Yes, it is important to keep up with maintaince on a vehicle. It would be the same, if someone rode across country on a chinese scooter. They would need extra tires, gas, fuel filters, tools to adjust carb and valves, extra oil, coolant, ect.. Just could not take off and hope everything will be alright. Got to count on somethings going wrong.

Gotta remember that it is not a race, so reasonable driving and reg maintaince it should be no major problems other than normal wear items. Good luck to him.
