The only concern I would with that kit would be for 150cc and higher cc scoot. Notice the Rear Axle only has TWO Frame mounting brackets. That axle with TWO mounting Brackets ONLY come on the 50cc Trikes. The 150cc and up Trikes come with 4 Mounting brackets spaced out wider. Also I see that the Axle does not have the Floating Ring on each side of the Axle Tube which are the Old Axles that they first came out with back in early 2009. Later in 2009 because of complaints the Axles were coming out they upgraded them with the Floating Ring on each side of the Axles about 6 inchs from each end. Here is an upgraded 50cc axles just like the one they are selling but without the Floating Ring to stop the Axles from coming out. Notice the Two Screw on each side of the Axle: Lefty Lefty

The kit should work, also read that some may need a mod here and there but nothing major. But Like I said I would be concerned putting that on a 150 or higher scoot with only two brackets holding that rear Axle.
Its $1,000.00 for the kit( which I say should ONLY go on 50cc scoots) so spend another $1,500.00 and get a 150cc Trike all ready to rock and roll. Lefty

Thanks edfr, which 150 would you recommend. I was reading up on the ice bear models. I cant see much difference on the top 3 300 models. If and when I do anything I would want one to at least cruise around 55mph. Obe

Well the 300s you will be able to curise in the 60-65 mph range and still have some left over. The 150s will usually do 50 out of the crate but at Wide Open Throttle which you do not want to do full time. But things to consider weight of the Trike and size of the Full tank etc..
Very easy and cheap to get more top end out of them, best for you bucks is taller gears in the tranny right in back of the Clutch and you can do it yourself. With 15/38 gears you can pick up almost 10mph on the top end so that will allow a cruise of 50-55 not at WOT and still have a little left. Lefty

I contacted the web site that is selling the conversion kit with an interest to confronting my Kimco Sento 50 CC into a trike, they replied it does not work on a 50 CC. I am awaiting a reply as to the particular reason it would not fit on a 50 CC. I really like my Kimco Sento, (750 miles on it) it never fails to start and it never stalls. But I have problems with balance. Instead of being a frequent-flier I'm frequent faller. I can't find anyone in my area (Worcester Massachusetts) who wants to touch a Chinese bike or trike, so I am really hesitant to have one drop shipped here. So the conversion of my scooter into a trike is appealing to me. I could ride it year around, cheap transportation. The thousand dollar cost of the trike conversion kit seems a little expensive, it is basically the rear axle and two wheels, 2 shock absorbers, two attachment pieces attaching the rear axle to the bike, 2 cheap fenders, and rear disk brakes with some break lines. Do any of you know where I might be able to get these parts?

$1,000 isn't very expensive for a trike kit. I paid $3,500 for a Tow Pac kit and another $500 to have it installed. I'm not crazy about riding the Mod Quad, (the original drive wheel is still on the scoot, giving it 3 wheels in back and one in front), around curvey back roads, but it is an excellent hwy vehicle.
Have taken it on 3 fairly long trips and it has performed beautifully. I am planning on riding it from Norwich, CT to Jackson, MI this summer. I have configured 2 overnight bags to act as extra baggage and hopefully will have enough storage for everything I want to take.
I have read a lot of bad things about Ice Bears and I wouldn't recommend buying one. Good luck with whatever you decide on.

Well did you ask them ON WHICH SCOOT they will work on? They tote all kinds of bull sh!t on their website and now they are saying it won't work. Did you ask WHY they won't work or are they wanting to sell you a Scoot already converted. I think that is the deal because one other person tried to do the same thing. Actually the person went down there in person. Lefty
