For those of you that have not pulled your CVT cover yet, be aware that there is a nut behind the black plastic ( Rear, clutch area) that has to be removed to get the cover off.

WOW, Jim I have taken mine off with out taken nut off. The bearing stays in the case.....I just tapped it a touch with palm when putting back. my bearing slides over that nut. Is something wrong for it to do that?
Used to have a bell sound in it but is now gone....something...utoooo

The one we pulled apart would not come off without taking that nut off.

Jim, I did tap mine with rubber mallet and pry a bit with a small 1in putty knife, I could tell it was hanging at that bearing...a little prying and lite tapping with mallet and popped off.
Some just harder than others...probably easer for you cause you got impact wrench right there, if I had one I would have done the same as you did
Heheee, I pretty good with hammers....

Yes things are easier with an impact. We did try to pull it off without removing that nut but, seemed to be hanging up on that bearing. After removing the nut it came right off. I just hate forcing stuff.
