Hi all, Just got my IB Tornado this morning. Looks like I'm the first to get the Tornado on this forum. Still doing the PDI and waiting for the MSO and BOS so I can register it, But I can't wait to get it on the road.
I'll update and upload some pics when I get the chance.

Hi all, Sorry it took so long to update, been one of those weeks, did the PDI on the tornado, everything it tight, new fluids, running great. Paperwork didn't arrive till Saturday so I didn't get to register the bike till this morning, yes waiting all week to ride it really sucked, but put about 50 miles on it today. Haven't really opened it up yet, but did hit 55 MPH on stretch of road and still had had more throttle. Few minor things to fix, the steel frame it was shipped in scrapped up the master cylinder cover for the rear breaks, their sending me a new one, and the dash is in Km/h no big deal, but their sending me a new dash in MPH anyway. started with a full tank, the digital gauge has 7 bars and it dropped one bar in those 50 miles, more hills than flat roads here so will have to wait and see how the MPG is. Will try to update again in a couple days.

The rear fender has a frame under it that attaches to the main frame, all the bolts and screws have thick rubber washers on them to reduce vibration and prevent stress fractures. Attachments:

120 miles on it so far and she's running like a top, getting around 60 MPG so far, that's with a lot of stopping and starting in town and climbing some steep hills, not much for flat roads here. Ordered a small trailer for it to put my wheelchair and what ever else I need on, just been parking my wheelchair at the door, climbing on the bike and cruising around till I get the hitch and trailer on it. Plan to put another couple hundred miles on it this week if the weather holds, and another 350 miles next week when I go up to my son's to see my new granddaughter.

Break it in right.....I put 60 pluss on my Silver Bullet yesterday and 124miles on it today. Mostly at 55-60mph. I have not had to tight down norhing. Well, my tall windshild I had to tweek..
The 300cc Ice Bear Trikes are a blast 4o ride and will cruise all day 55-60mph and never over heat...Gonna go with larger tires when new gear box comes in.

let me know how the larger tires work out, it's something I've thought about just because the roads can get really rough around here and larger tires would make for a smoother ride

Yes, I took my time and did the PDI over a couple of days while I was waiting for the paper work so I could register it, the seat is very comfortable not to mention huge, I could fit 2 passengers on it.

Are you thinking about adding a windscreen?

if they come out with a windshield for it I might get one, but the wind doesn't really bother me as it is now.

Ya, that is a pretty nice trike. That is what I want. A 300cc trike. I do like the looks of a CanAm Spider, but $18,000 is alot of money on my limitted income. Your trike cost a pretty penny. Around $4 grand.. They are sweet machines. I can save to get one.

passed the 1000 mile mark today, she's running great, taking the riding skills test Wednesday for the endorsement.
I'll be glad when I don't have these permit restrictions: can't drive at night, no passengers, can't drive out of state.

As soon as can you put one together, could you do a review on things like ride, acceleration, cornering, handling and anything else you can think of...."inquiring minds want to know". That is one sweet machine.
