Wow, Found something today while going over the trike that I think was missed in factory. I find it easer to inspect the trike every 200-300 miles by first pulling plug inspecting and leave it out till full inspection complete.
Reason is I can check many more th8ngs with to pressure on chain or gears. I use blocks on one wheel no breaks so can move trike from work seat. This morning with deck off, CVT side covers off after checking all nuts bolts and screws, never find anything loose anymore at just over 1,000 miles....I noticed the shifter on the axle which is spring loaded was loose. I am waiting for new gear box from factory now so I seen this and figured no more riding...
Fore some reason I have never checked the sproket gear to gear box other than to eye the gear. The gear is attached with to small bolts and both were loose, I mean loose I could shake the gear. Now if plug was in this woul again have been missed or if trike breaks were on because of presure.
I can tell you this trike is riding good and vibrations are no longer a problem. It is so important to check everything....
Now if I could j6at get the breaks to stop squeaking at stops.....@#$! Lefty did you do a squeak dance on a windy day??
