Well I double checked so....on My 300cc Magnum (Silver Bullet), I get 49.5 mpg and it is flat land here in Florida. Seems very low to me, was thinking 60-65 mpg. I do have a problem axle gear box causing extra drag but still seems low. Some of you Magnum Rider ....please let me know what your getting. Also, spark gap seems best at .026, what works best for others? Just to let some know...I removed the stock windshild and installed a universal 50 slip mount windshild. I like it, keeps the bugs from stinging at high speeds or even a sprinkle at 60 mph hurts here in Florida, Texas size erops......But, I lost 5-7mph off top speed. I can not run 65mph to Springhill for the 10 minute run it was. She now likes 55 -60 cruise and so I am still a happy camper... You may just need to adjust the Carb, you probably are running rich. Lean it out a little try 1/4 turn and try it. In Hot weather you do not need a lot of gas, 4 strokes like to run a little on the Lean side. In Cold weather you have to richen them up. Lefty

did you remove the nut on the clutch side of the cvt cover. I found that out when I changed out the stock variator for the TKC and it drove us nuts trying to split the case

Ok, got the cover off and So fare see a new belt this thing is glazed, gotta pull and inspect rollers an so on. The scoop to the side cover is it hangs up on the 2 big cover guides. One is bottom off center left the other is top off center right. Just pry a little and soft mallet taps and off she comes.
Now I have my work to do...@#$! were my hammer I'll fix it....
