Here a few mods I did on my scoot. Love to tinker, so this was way beyond fun for me. Radio mounted, speakers attached to bars. Love my tunes! I mounted LED strips under the bike to give it a glow effect, plus extra lite to be seen!!! And finaly, my bike that I LOVE to ride!!! Especially when my poor ol' truck only gets 18mpg!

Ya, that is cool. I thought of putting lights on the bottom too. Makes the scooter stand out. Cool pics.. Attachments:

Thanks Chaz. It was an impulse add on. Plus it got my dad moving a bit to lend a hand when he could.

Sure did Scootergirl. I did some research on radios for bike/scooters/motorcycles. I chose one that would play not only the radio, but can accept a SD card and a USB stick. I have tons of music on my PC and didnt want to just be stuck with a radio. I mounted the unit itself to the glove box. Grabbed a mount we had a work, measured it and bent it to the shape you see. Then I drilled holes to run bolts through to mount. Ran my wires for power and speakers. The package came with a mounting bracket to fit over the mirror bolts, but I didnt like that install and the brackets werent of good quality. So I mounted the speakers to the housing around the bars and bingo.....Tunes. The unti goes to 25 level, and its pretty loud enough to be heard running at 55-60 mph. The only thing you will have to do if you use the SD card is use some type of program to re-record the mp3s at a higher volume. If you want to try it or need detailed pics, let me know. I had fun with this mod!!!
