Hello, I am interested in forming a club. I have a Roketa Bali 250cc scoot that travels at highway speeds( 55 to 60 mph) and feel like could travel to Columbia MO, Jefferson City MO, Rolla MO, and all towns in between. Interested in starting a network system to help one another work on scooters too. I mean, say 18 to 25 people contact me from the central Missouri area, well we could assist each other in person, to figure out what is wrong with each others scooters. So like if you had problems, well 4 or 5 members could meet up with you, figure what your scooter needs and do mechanical work for free, verses you working on it yourself and tearing apart parts and putting together. There are alot of people whom own scooters, but know nothing about them.

Well chaz have you checked out Springfield's scooter club? twistyriders.proboards.com/index.cgi? might check them out if you havent already. I'm in Columbia and there is no scooter club, but there are many collage kid's on scooters. There was a club at one time but it went dead.

We used to live in Columbia. I rode scooters there, from 1993-2001. I will look into tristyriders to see where there members are from. Thanks..

My wife had surgery not to long ago, but is healing fine. Got a doctors appointment tomorrow. Ya, maybe we can all meet up sometime in Rolla at a restaurant and them go cruise some..

Sounds great. Stahlman powersports has treated me well. Tried to order some touch-up paint for my scooter but it was back-ordered at kymco. My front fender was also broken when someone backed into the scooter in a parking lot. I purchased the bike (2009 kymco super 8) new in july as a demo model and the side skirts were scratched from rubbing against a curb at the dealer (this is what i needed the touch-up paint for). Long story short, because the paint was back ordered, stahlman got me two new skirts and the new fender at their cost. A+, i didn't even purchase my scooter from them.

Ya, that is where we got the Honda Rebel.. We actually traded a Yamaha Zuma 49cc 2 stroke scoot for the Rebel. So the Rebel cost us $2200.. Ya, demo scoots can get scuffed up some. And sorry to here about the fender... You can get a new fender fairly cheap. I have been making a spoiler for my trunk. It is not meant to make my scooter faster, but just look cooler. I will show you a pic when completed.. ;D Attachments:

Had a Roketa, just got a honda reflex. My husband is getting a burgman next week. I'm sure a scooter club would be a blast. I live in Sturgeon, just north of Columbia, but have ridden to Louisiana, Mo a couple of times. Let me know if you get something started, I would love to join the fun.

also, if anyone is interested, I have a Roketa 250cc scooter with a dead motor, but there are plenty of good parts on it. Front rim, handle bars, mirrors, carburator, radiator, brakes, etc. If anyone is interested in getting parts or buying the whole thing, I will sell cheep.
