I filled the dif with gear oil and the cvt with gear oil. The pdi said fill it until it comes out. This is a new 300 magnum. Gear oil spraying off of chain. When will it stop? I was hoping this is just excess fluid that will run through until it reaches the right level???

I hope you did not fill the axle gear box to the top......it is a splash system just as a car, remember the fill was just below the middle. I run 2 cups in mine. You will need to drain that oil out, must be leaking at right and left bearings at u-joints, not good....
Trans is not to be filled to the top fill......I fotget the amount it takes but it is posted in forum

I think I will be the first to try this trike out in 115 degree weather. Phoenix is not forgiving in the summer. Just a note. The PDI said to fill the CVT to the top until it came out. That was what I got of one of the mechanics PDI lists. I will be taking out the gear oil today out of the rear diff and putting to cups into it. Then I am putting new blinkers and running lights where the reflectors are. Placing a rigid metal piece under the fender to keep the front from vibrating. Plus putting in the Volt Meter. Then I have to try to figure out where to put speakers and a radio would go. I already lock tighted everything on this trike. Allot of work before you ever get it on the road.

What I did on my trans was I put the same amount in I took out. Looking at my notes I put 2.5 cups synthetic 75/90w in axle box.
Yes it takes time to get it right, but will pay...
