Roy, Yes, I know you will get it all straightened out and running like you want. Once you get this big hog rolling you will never get back on the 50 ;D You better find some good road cause that thing can cruise 60-65 no sweat. Lefty

Roy: Welcome to the 300 Magnum crowd. Now you'll have to come down/up/across to Fort Smith Arkansas when Mike and I hook up for coffee and donuts.

That would be fun Roy 3 Mags riding thru that little town....One thing I STRONGLY recommend Roy.....change that rear axle box and replace the gear oil now with a good Synthetic oil, I use Max-Gear 75-90w.....
Now off i go on the Silver Bullet in 90 deg weather hahaaaaaaa

Silver Bullet on the rise....she is running sweet...took almost 2.5 gallons of gas today and ready for a ride to the Sponge Docks in Tarpon Springs in the morning.....
Is a rough life here in Florida....But some body gotta live.....

Hey Lefty as long as you keep the wind to your back what's the problem??? Been pretty nice here in Ozark, Arkansas. Put a lot of miles on my Honda CB 900...not so much on the scoot. I need to change that around.

Mike: AND THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!! Pull your low beams to check and see what they are 35 watt or 55 watt. I will bet money you have 55 watt low beams. When I get my 35 watt HIDs in I'll let you know if they are going to fix the problem or not. However the cheaper cost is the LED conversion but I don't know if they will be bright enough for me yet. With the HID conversion you have to buy the ballast which ups the price considerably. Stand by for more info when I get and install my HIDs.

Did it again today.....39 miles and a hot anf I am sun burnt............ Say Mike, when I ride during sunny days and want to forgo the sleeves I lather on lots of sunscreen with a SPF of 50. The one I use smells like cocoa butter and dries quickly. Never a burn and just barely a tan. Be sure to protect you skin dude. Melanoma ain't nothing to gamble. Sleeves and gloves and a good UV face shield are best, but if you want the open air don't chance exposed skin. Glad you are liking the Magnum. I was out on a service call today and saw a really neat little three wheeler buggy that uses the same wheel layout as my wife's Can-Am. I took a pic with my cellphone, here check it out:

That's sharp....Right about the sun block too....NOW, got a tube in glove box..
Yes Al we are having a blast with the Silver Bullet, just hope the axle gears hold out till the replacement gets here...
Oh, Carb came loose, and in a right turn, she zonked out. Stanless steel strap going in and a support bracket going in onback of carb to cut vibrations and keep carb level..
Almost got all the bugs out.....
She's a Silver Bullet....
My ride.... Mike
