SCAMMER, total scammer DON'T EVER BUY FROM THIS SITE OR ANY LIKE IT!!! I ordered a scooter (Roketa MC 23-150) From this guy Rick who, when asked on the phone stated he had this IN STOCK and even though it was not my first color choice (stop me when it sounds familiar) I chose red instead. The long and short of this is after 2 full weeks of never receiving an email, a phonecall, a delivery date or ANYTHING unless I CALLED HIM! I finally called my credit card company and canceled the transaction declaring it FRAUD due to ALL of the reports on this guy. I don't want him having my money or my business anyway and even if he DID ship it I can't see accepting something from (if nothing less than)a shady business practice which I highly doubt would honor any guarantee on the scoot should it fail in 2 miles. You're better off dealing someone you KNOW has a shop and a reputation to uphold, much less a website and an office where the same guy answers for Sales, Customer service and tech support

I bought my Pathfinder from them a little over a month ago. It came in and the topbox was orange. The scooter is red. The mirror threads are stripped with the part that the mirror attaches to. Of course he never sees what he's selling since he just makes a call to California and the bike was shipped from there to me. I wrote him last week again . He says he has a better topbox in stock, red, and will send out the next day. That was 6 days ago. He's in Florida about 3 hours across the state. Pony express would have gotten it here by now.

I purchased a scooter here about mid June of 2010. I emailed them in the morning inquiring about a color being in stock for my scooter. I received a reply pretty soon after, telling me every color was in stock. So I immediately ordered upon reading this. I went on with my day excited to get the EXACT scooter I wanted. I later got an email saying my color was out of stock and I would HAVE to pick from the other 2 available. Obviously products do sell out, however I do not like being told something is in stock both through an email and on the website, then find out after ordering it I was misled. Just a little upsetting. I later made a few more emails to the company about paperwork and order confirmations and the person who was replying was very rude. He failed to answer most if not any of my questions and the few times he did answer it was very brief. Lastly, the shipping took over 3 weeks, received about mid July, which is understandable but annoying at the same time. I am happy with my product now, just annoyed with the service I received. I would order here again solely for the prices and a decent variety, but the customer service was awful and the warranty was quite bad. Hope this helps you out a little. I'm not trying to be completely negative towards the company, just share my experience with them.

I was told the same about colors and then I went to order and it wasn't in stock and had to take something else. It's a month and a half now and still haven't got my topbox and mirror from him. I wrote him again last week and he answered with he will send shipping number to me that day, no shipping number this week. I wouldn't buy from this guy again, scooters, parts, or toilet paper.

This does NOT sound good for me. I entrusted $900 in some guy that sits in an office all day and just orders scooters/parts......that SUCKS to know this. I may just cancel the order all together if I don't see a scooter by Friday

UPDATE: In doing more research I came across some older complaints from www.ripoffreport.com/motorcycles/mxmotorsports-inc-an/mxmotorsports-inc-and-jvmotor-d6d78.htm if this doesn't say it all, I'm not sure what does. I think as of tomorrow I may just spend $200 on a round trip to Miami to pay a visit to his "shop" to check on my order. after i get home, a nice call to my good friend Mrs Coakley. In case you ask, she is the ATTY GEN for the Commonwealth of Mass. SO ATTENTION RICK MARABINI: You're on notice!

I think a few too many of these scooter drop shippers got into it thinking this was going to be a turn-key operation; just set up a web site that automatically fills in the order, then it makes you money while other people do the work. They really have no idea what's going on behind the scenes or how to fix any problem, I wonder if they can even name an employee at their supplier.

Well guys, I don't care now if the damned thing shows up or not. I went ahead and used my buyer's protection on my Credit card and canceled the order. If it shows up midstream I'll gladly resubmit payment but as of now I'm DONE with this obvious CROOK! I should've looked into his so called company BEFORE I ordered. Like mentioned, live and learn. These fly by night people make online dealing have a bad reputation and to be sure, these criminals are EVERYWHERE! I guess the moral in the end is: If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I would be surprised if this guy isn't in jail in a year. Frauds need to be exposed for what they are and this guy sure seems to be one.

An update to this loser and my topbox. After 2 months he finally sends me a red box. He told me a while back that the red one will be a better box then the orange one that was sent by mistake, WRONG! He sends me a box that was for a 50cc bike and the only way it would fit on my bike I would have to drill holes on the back rack. I write to him and he writes back and tells me the red box he sent was for a 150cc. I look on his website and he lists the one he sent me is for a 50cc. I'm not screwin with this idiot anymore and I even wrote BMS on this guy. And, still 2 months later, no sign of the mirror and what it screw to.

fljohnboy,
You're lucky to get a red box from Rick. He promised me the same thing but didn't send anything since I bought from him for over 3 years. LOL. I went to Walmart and bought a box for 15$. I can carry 4 medium pizzas in the box! ;D

Well, if anyone wants interesting reading on this idiot I will gladly send you the emails we have been sending to each other. Last one he sends he tells me he's done with me and if I have any issuees to take them up with BMS. I beat him to the punch and wrote to BMS first. Bms says they will send me the box and mirror parts. Let's see if that happens.

I've been there, he is about 3 miles from my job. Last time I stopped by they have a store front with about 12 scooters and a shop in the back for "repairs". Why to much bad history to deal with him. He is always on craigslist advertising. miami.craigslist.org/mdc/mcd/2526485773.html

I guess we got lucky! We bought our scooter from them this past March. Was delivered earlier than promised and have had no real problems. Our first choice was sold out and he was able to tell us what was available; so far we love it. Just looking for some reference material so I can do some basic service maintenance to keep it running. They had it listed as MSM 150-19... The decal says its a sunL 150-19, (SL150-19)... The manufacturer plate says it was made by Shanghai Shenke and it looks very similar to a 2011 Roketa MC-46 though our 2008 seems to have a bit more horsepower, (9.5 vs 7.4). Attachments:

I don't know about finding Rick behind his desk waiting for the phone to ring. I was planning to order from him online, but before I did I called just to verify they / he had the model I wanted, in the color I wanted. He told me to call back in a couple hours (Pi$$ poor salesmanship). When I called back he told me he never got around to checking, but had my number on caller ID, and would be SURE to call me back before the end of the day... That was 4 days ago now.
I found all the terrible stuff on the BBB about him ripping people off, and ordered my scoots (3) from another dealer in California with a better reputation. I hate to say it, but if he'd been quicker the first time I called him, he'd have probably scammed me for a couple grand!
