Hi guys, After traveling about 4miles the trike slows right down, it's as if my brakes have come on, have released the hand brake cable, after sitting for ten minutes everything is fine, and then go through the procedure again, anybody had this problem?, regards, bob.

This may be too simple but if you have a full tank of gas, you may have, as mine and a couple others have had happen with our gas caps, they were not venting, causing a vacuum and starving the engine. Try removing the cap when it does that an see how it runs. What I did to remedy that on mine was snap a w-d 40 spray tube in the cap to vent. A Friend on his Roketa 250B drilled 2 small holes in his cap. Solved for us. The last time mine did that before I fixed it I thought the same thing that the brakes came on.

Usually the tanks are vented, some have a hose going to a canister to trap the fumes some have just a hole in the cap itself which can get plugged up. If you ever looked inside a cap there is material in it and that starts to disenagrate and blocks the vent hole. Also if overfilled the gas will go into the Vent hose and canister and block the air.
I could also be it is overheating and your getting a soft seize, how many miles on it and have you adjusted your valves. Which would act in that manner and restarts after a cool down. Lefty

The material is inside of the cap so you cannot readly see it. Mine is metal and resembles a cars fuel cap, maybe yours is different. Lefty
