Hey Everybody,
It has been a while since I posted. My trike is doing really well and I recently just went over 2,000 miles. I was changing my gear oil for the third time, draining the fluid out of the bottom and then using the hose on the top to add fluid, but it seems like I used more fluid last time. Can anyone tell me the amount the Ice Bear 150-11 holds, and what types of fluid is everyone using. Thanks.

I have the Souped up PST150H Trike and all the 150 trikes have the same engine the 157QMJ. I put 8OZ in the Tranny which is a little over 200ml, you do not want to overfill it otherwise it will come squirting out of the Vent Tube. I use 75w90 Mobil 1 Full Synthetic. Lefty

I put 400ml in one trike and 300ml in the other. None of it has squirted out. Do I need to drain some?

If it not squirting out no need to, it is a Splash system so it is slooshing around in there. Also make sure your tranny vent tube is NOT plugged up or tie to not vent.
Do you fill it through the Fill Plug behind the Sprocket or through the Vent tube? If you fill it through the Fill Plug and you fill it until it starts to drip back out IT WILL come squirting out from the vent tube. Talking from experience not just jawing, but then again mine has the Reverse in the tranny and could have something to with it since the Reverse Mechanism is near the Vent tube. Lefty

I squirted it in through the vent tube. I wasn't sure where the fill plug is on the tranny. All the bolts look the same I had read that you can fill it this way so that's how I did it. I'm wondering if I have too much in there since I started noticing a whining sound yesterday. Hell, at least it isn't jerking and shuddering now!

Here is where the Tranny Fill Plug is. The picture is actually from WILDMAN's IB -11 Trike: Lefty
