I wish wildman would PM me back. Anyone shed any light on how he changed the fluid in this shocks to transmission fluid for a smoother ride?

Skytex, You have to take the shocks off, they are capped at on the top. Not a easy job since you have to take the whole wheel off and brakes. Lefty

Took it for it's first decent length ride last night. 70 miles or so. Performed well. Speedo is about 10 fast as expected. How can I calibrate it? Anyplace make taller windshields? And is kenda the only ones who make a 205/65-10? Also if anyone sees wildman on another forum plz direct him here. Still no pm from him.

There are other 10" tires but you have to watch that it is DOT approved for high speeds. Most are not DOT approved also the Max Load you don't want something that is over 1000 lbs max load the sidewalls will be very hard and give you a very bumpy ride. The Kenda Load Star tires have a very nice Street Thread and roll really nice. You also have to google for the price some are way out of line and then also watch out for second hand tires they are not round and you will go bump bump down the road. So if the price is very low there is a reason for it and are not 1sts they probably are defective. Lefty

Great, just stay on top of that thing and check all fluids.....Keep a good eye on the axle gear box, put a good Synthetic iol in it. I use Max-Gear 75-90w.
Thet are a good soft riding machine......

Roy, Ask the seller if they are 1sts and not seconds and if they are not round if they can be returned. Also Amazon has them for less. Lefty

Whew. I got tired of looking around for info and dug into the trike today. The headlights aren't adjustable that I can tell. Pulling it apart and putting it back together nearly wore me out. I only took out one headlight too! Until someone puts out a technical manual I think I'll leave it put together. Those chineese are too cleaver by half at fitting plastic together without screws.

Skytex: My 300 has three screws/bolts on each headlight housing in the back. Pretty difficult to get to without taking the front end apart. I'm not sure which one does what but with slow turning when lights are aimed at something you should be able to figure it out. They can be turned with a phillips head screwdriver or a 8mm (I think it's 8mm).

2nd part of this is that the housing does come apart but not real easy to do. There are 3 metal tabs. Take those off. Then there are about 6 plastic tabs that must be disconnected by a little persuasion. Then slowly work your way around the housing prying the two halves apart. they are fitted with a silicon type rubber cement but do come apart rather nicely if you are patient and don't "brute force" them.

Ok. I've almost got it to 300 miles and due for it's first oil change. Can any one tell me what all I will need and a quick how to? I think I've found the oil drain plug. However I can find no oil filter. Also someone mentioned changing out the gear oil. Any info on this? While I'm at it I recon I might as well do it all.
Of late it tries to die when I take off from a stop. It's not every time, but it has happened a couple of times now. Any info on this by chance?
