I have quick question. I am thinking of the Urban Courier and I am 6'6" tall. 220# Will I fit under the top. I am selling my Van and hope to commute 10 mo or so of the year. I was on a buy button for a roketa but the UC caught my eye. The top would be so nice here in South Dakota.
Do people like this scooter or tank in general?
I have done 2 days or reading and have pretty much made up my mind about chinese scoots. I can fix about anything. Drove Vdubs for 15 years and lambrettas for 10. I am used to small fix jobs and that dsoesnt bother me. I have a Yamaha for the hiway and want to save$$ on my 25 mile drive everyday.
Thanks Dan

Dan, I don't own a Courier, but the only complaint (comment actually) that I have heard from owners is that they are a bit top heavy and they don't do too well in wind. They also noted that you can get pretty wet in rain from other vehicles tire spray (wear rain gear). Of the owners I've conversed with (2 total) they both liked them. Not my choice, but if you like it and you fit under the top, go for it. Stan I have quick question. I am thinking of the Urban Courier and I am 6'6" tall. 220# Will I fit under the top. I've ridden the Diamo Version of this but I'm only 5' 10''. At 6' 6" you'll probably fit but getting in and out under the thing will be a bit touchy. This scoot as a 150 is a little under powered. It's heavy with all the do-dads and that windsheild while awesome for protection is like pushing a winebego through the air. If you really like this scoot I think 250 versions are in the works.

If you rode your Yammy as slowly as you'd have to run the Urban Courier, you'd probably get about the same (or better??) gas mileage, and not be out the purchase price. Bigger-engined 2-wheelers of about the same weight class get lower gas mileage mostly because folks accelerate them quicker and ride them faster.
I get 70+mpg out of a Suzuki Burger400 (410lbs weight) because I ride 40-55mph on country roads. I got a new Roketa-150, (~250lbs weight) and expect about the same gas mileage out of it because I'll ride it at about the same speeds. Sad but true.
