Hey all,
I am interested in purchasing an Ice Bear 150cc trike type 11. I really like the digital display and head lights. I am thinking of purchasing from killer motor sports because they are bbb accredited and will match a price of 2199 from superiorpowersports.com. Anyone heard of a better price?
I was wondering if anyone has any recommend dealers or has any info on killer motor sports. Dont want to get burned.
Also, does anyone have any specific info on this Ice Bear model? Pros and cons ? Please let me know as I am really excited about this model but dont want to waste money on a bad trike nor a company that will be difficult to work with...if a problem arises.
Thanks!

Johlkien, Another Forum guy by the call name WILDMAN has the -11 and has modded the sh!t out of it. You might want to PM him. Just a question Do you know what year it is? Later in 2009 and starting in 2010 they upgraded it they took out the Reverse as well as had the Mufflers welded replaceing the rivets. Lefty

In otherwords, hope that no damage happened to the scoot before it was crated or after it was crated. Basically you are on your own if you do the PDI yourself period. Lefty

I was also referring to the warranty information.
Killer Motor Sports "The 2 Year manufacture warranty is provided by the manufacture, NOT Killer Motorsports and starts from the date the product is received."
Ice Bear (manufacturer) "What does this warranty cover? Except as specified below this warranty covers all defects in material for this product during the six month warranty period. The engine is covered during one year warranty period"

Jim, So they are lieing through there teeth, and reading #4 like you said they do not want any part of it after they get their money and make it very diffcult for the customer if anything is wrong. Reading that I would NOT buy from them PERIOD.
JohlKien, If you are NOT mechanical buy from a Dealer that works on them, You pay a little more but they will support you.
I HIGHLY Recommend RAPIDJIM, He knows the Trikes and is a TRUE MECHANIC that knows his stuff and knows how to Diagnose problems and not just replace parts. He has put them together for his customers and Tests them Out On THE AUTOBON HIGHWAY 35 RIGHT IN FRONT of his Business in WISCONSIN(HEHE). So when you get your Scoot it is in good running condition, carb adjusted and everything working. Lefty

Thanks for the info all. Much appreciated. I would of course love to purchase from a dealer, yet few close to me in NY seem to have any Ice Bears around. Only Honda, Suzuki, and Lifans. Thus I am resigned to the internet. I also dont have much more than 2500 to spend, and having bought through internet stores before am well aware of their shadyness, yet I thought maybe someone may know reputable and cheap dealer. Also any more money than that and I am eating into my already allocated "have extra parts on hand because the seller wont ever help if there is an issue" budget.
Once my scoot came without a nut for the front wheel....

just wanted to say..Killermotor sports do not return calls after they get paid, I purchased mp 250 a jcl scooter, so far so good, only 100 miles on it but i am waiting for the title and mso to register it, called them many times to see when they will send it to me, and emailed them as well, no response. plus i ordered the silver which was their available colors, they called a week later to say the red isnt available, plus they already sent me the silver gloves, so another week wasted till they got the order corrected.

I usually have the customer's MCO a day before or the same day they they get their machine, sign it and send it right back out in the mail. I do not get what is going on with these "dealers" that take so long to get paperwork out or make the customer request an MCO. With both Ice Bear and Roketa, they send the MCO to me the next business day after the machine ships from their warehouse. Just doesn't make sense to me. I must be missing something.
