I took the scooter that I bought almost a month ago for the first spin today. While I was waiting for the front tire to arrive I installed larger jets, foam filter, and gutted the exhaust. I also installed yamaha outboard warning horns to the turn singals. It was worth the wait. I did however get some really strange looks from the country club when I use my turn singals, maybe there a little to loud but I havent forgot to turn them off yet. I think the scooter is running a little rich on top end, but I have an intake comming soon. I dont know what the top speed is I spent most of the ride breaking it in with accelerating-deaccel ect. If any one else has a tank euro I would like to know what there top speed is. Also the gas gauge reads 1/4 tank and I just filled it.

Got my Tank Euro up to 62mph the other day (tailwind assisted). I weigh 170lbs, against a headwind I almost reach 55mph.
My tank gauge doesn't work that well either. If it's full, it only reads 2/3 full. Stan (www.oregonvintage.com) had an article on re-bending the gas float to get a better reading, so you might want to try that. My gauge sounds like it''s working a bit better than yours, so I'm not worried about it. I just put more gas in it when it gets down in the red zone.
Also, if you haven't already done so > make sure you go over all the nuts & bolts on the scooter & make sure they're tight. I had a couple of things loosen up after my first 100 miles (left & right brake assemblies on handlebars, muffler mounts, exhaust mounts, etc.) Nothing major & everything is OK now that I tightened everything up. You may want to take a look under to handlebar fairing & make sure the electrical connections are tight - a crimper & electrical tape will suffice. Got get some zip ties if you don't have any.
Keep me posted, not too many of us have the Euro model.
Enjoy! -Ken

the scooter has been good so far. I tried to re bend the float arm but its the sender its self. I had to tighten a bunch of bolts and screws on mine. Does the trunk get in the way of adding fuel? thanks

Yeah, a bit. Try using a bendy funnel to get around the trunk. (see the personal note I sent you). Let me know if you have a better idea, still kind of a pain....
Do you have any pics of your scoot? We "Euro" guys need to stick together! ;D

That Tank Euro looks like it shares a few similar components to the Strada RX150i. I managed to get the trunk mounted far enough back to not interfere with the gas cap. Can one of you guys tell me how high the floor is off the ground?

Crud, you had to ask me something like that the one day I decide not to ride my scoot to work! (Had to play taxi for the kids today) I'll have to measure it when I get home, but the deck's probably around 12 to 15 inches high. (give or take a few inches, just a guess) The styling was definitely ripped from another scooter. I personnaly think it was copied from the Vento Triton Gt5 www.heeters.com/Vento.shtml (See bottom of page, just different wheels & exhaust, & 50cc vs. 150cc) What do you think Buck?

Looking at the rx it looks simlar but I sure wish it had the rx engine. If twister doesnt get to it I will. I am trying to mod mine up, but he hieght is still the same. By the way this forum is like crack, it only takes one time to get hooked. thanks dawg. I want the gauges off the vento scooter the hieght of the deck is 15 inches +/-.
