I just looked as the specs for the V5 CFMoto from yet another distributor. www.ymoto.net/ymoto_sunflower_022.htmYup, Sunflower, the company that everyone seems to adore. Seems the stats list now say the HP is 21. If this is the stock bike it just gained 3 HP. and the Torque is listed as 19.6@5500, so it also gained 2 ft lbs. I doubt that Sunflower would mod the bikes in anyway to increase the HP and torque. Even so, suprisingly it still gets 85 MPH max after that significant increase. Wonder if they'll be any better on parts. I have to look over the Xcel list that seems to be circulating among all the sellers of the product. If you look closely in the Brake pedal section your will see parts for the FOOT ACTUATED REAR BRAKE. Unless I am wrong, when did the V5 or V3 get a rear brake pedal? Actually these are doctored copies of the Honda Helix Parts Manual, and they didn't take the time to redraw the different parts. The Seat is a Honda Helix, and the rear brakes are drums. The fisch is from a honda helix even the center stand. The price went up from 2995 to 3295, and since when did vinyl become leather in the seats. Unfortunately some one will buy the bike based on those specs and be very unhappy. Unfortunately this is how a good product will be destroyed.

Vinyl = leather when the name is changed.
If you are old enough to remember a Chrysler commercial from the early 80's or late 70's, Ricardo Montebon (I'm not sure if that is how he spells the name) was pitching the "fine Corinthian Leather" in a Chysler Cordoba, it was really just vinyl but Chrysler had copy righted or patented that version of vinyl as Corinthian Leather.
