I'm thinkin' you need to start over at Scootdawg.com homepage. There is a lot of GY6 info there and in downloads. Stan at oregonvintage is a member here. Read, read, read, and read some more. You are now at the right place.

Subarutech yes you have a GY6 in the Jamaica. Oregon Vintage is a great site StanJessup(owner) is a bigtime member of this group. Lee(Dawg) has an excellent GY6 manual for sale on this site. Go to the ScootDawg homepage www.SCootDawg.com look for the Dawg Manuals section at the top. Click and follow directions. When you pay paypal include your E-mail address so you can be sent a password to download the manual. He also has a variator tuning guide aailable should you want to play around with that. Welcome to the group and good luck with your new scoot. Aaron

subarutech; Allen's advice is the best for those new to this site. The bank of info. here is growing daily. Read any related posts and ask questions. Folks here are very friendly and eager to help.
As the owner of a Roketa Bali 250, welcome. I have also owned a Sicily 50 & Figi 150. Nothing Chinese in this price category is perfect but I have found the Roketas to be OK. My local Roketa dealer refers to your model as the "Alien" scooter. Haven't yet seen one in the flesh and I believe you are the first here to post with one. I am certain you have a Honda-clone GY6 engine. Haven't heard of anything different in the Roketa 150s.

Welcome aboard, Subaru!
I also thought I was ordering a Tank Touring 150 DE. I will be getting the Roketa Catalina. Just got a confirmation from BNScooters this morning. I think my scooter should be on a truck tonight.
Just wondering, when did you place the order, and where are you located?

Subarutech have you run the beast yet? No one has reported on that style scooter yet. The Primo Zues which is the same style as yours is supposed to be hotter than a regular 150. Hoping someone would post about that style scoot.

just been going up and down the street.no papers sent yet to title.although Certificate of Origin comes with bike this is of no good since it blank.from all the reading on sites ive been doing these scooters all lack in acceleration from a stop.although the top end seems pretty good.speedo needle bounces so hard to tell how fast actually going.it seems that the scooter is running lean.trying to find info on the air/mix screw.if its adjustment is just closed throttle or part open throttle before the main jets take over.will post pics and what i find later today

Subarutech,
That is a nice lookin' scoot. I like the blue/black color scheme very much. Looking forward to hearing your first impressions. Best of luck.

subarutech; I like the look of your new scoot!! I, also, am partial to the blue. Like the floor mat style - similar to mine. Within a week or so, you will get a properly filled out CMO, Bill of Sale, and Odometer Statement. The wait can be frustrating but you will have time to thoroughly go over your bike. Be certain to check for brake fluid leaks at the fittings and the calipers. What size battery did it come with? (ex. "TX9-BS)

soory not sure on the battery.didnt look as i installed it.the plastic trim plate for the front is a pain in the butt to take off.like a tonque and groove setup.
