First off let me start with the Dealer. I have bought a 50cc scooter before from them, It was very promising and nice. Except the shipping took 3 weeks, that is understandable since I live in Maryland. 3 weeks later while my scooter arrived in a giant crate. No scratch,no mark. Except is dusty as hell, gladly I've checked the engine and other stuff, no rust, great!
As promised from SP, engine oil is in there, all the wire is connected, except for no fuel. I had to assemble the mirror and turn signal later.
Here are the problems:
1, It came inside a Metal cage, all the bolts are tighten so tight, My tools slightly bented afterwards. And I was injured during the process, It was extremely annoying.
2, Shipping company were all A holes, they made a mistake on my order and called me 2 days before the crate arrived, and when I called back they hung up on me 3 times. At least I got what I wanted.
I have not yet received my Title yet, I contacted the customer service, I was told the manufacture made a mistake, so Ill get it once it's corrected ASAP. Well no problem there, since my Class M test is next month. Heres my rating on the shipping and seller.
Shipping:3/10
Seller: 7/10
Heres the fact of the actual touring scooter. It is absolutely fantastic, the front is beautiful, much much stylus than the picture. Let me tell you one thing about this scooter, is HUGE. The mirror turn signal also added it's beauty. I like the shape of the scooter. Back and the front looks just like a motorcycle.
Appearance: 9.5/10
Hardware and material. I can only use on word: Cheap! The scooter is cheap so I won't complain.
The entire scooter cover is hard plastic, NOT aluminum. Except the bone structure of the scooter. The battery is fully charged, but it's a cheap battery. Every thing seems weak, like one hit it's gonna fall apart. The tire, rear shock, exhaust and wheel disc are promising. Wheel size aren't too big, aren't too small.
Hardware/Material: 4/10
Entertainment wise is the Radio/Mp3. Radio is nearly useless, too much static noise and only two station had clear noise. But Mp3 plug work perfect. Who doesn't like a little music while on the road?
Entertainment:7/10
Storage and spaces. There are a lot of storage. Theres storage under the seat, there's small storage in the front (two Boxes), comes with a huge trunk, also I added Saddlebags. The storage space is definitely a win here. I fit two half face helmet, gloves, shin guards and all the tools with out any crowding.
Stora and space: 9/10
Here is the main part of the scooter, performance. I rode about 6mile in my neighborhood for the test drive. It was very nice, but the engine shakes a lot in slow speed. Once it get over 30MPH, it some how becomes stabilized. Exhaust sounds loud, not as loud as a cruiser, but I can tell you it definitely attract attention. The steering feels very conferrable, seats are nice and neat, foot board feels good too, even the passenger gets their own foot flip. It goes from 1~35 in 2.8 seconds. I haven't gotten my license yet, when I do I definitely will try it on high way and give it a full ride, see what exactly is the max speed.
Performance: 9/10 very conferrable ride!
The lights on the meters are bright yellow, just like in the car. Horn is loud, turn signal is bright. Stop light is LED red and beautiful looking. Low beans and high beans works fine.
Lights: 8.5/10
Over all this is a great bike, I've seen a lot of people who owns a MC-54 I believe. I've seen it, but I never rode it. But definitely recommends this Bike for every thing. It's easy to ride and it has a decent performance.
Questions: I have some small questions on how to keep your touring scooter at it's best condition. I put some foil papers on the exhaust pipe to protect it from rust. Any other suggestions?
