Well, the weather is warming back up here and I am looking for some kind of light weight armoured for the warmer months. Maybe even an armoured hoodie. Any suggestions or thoughts?

You're looking for an armored mesh jacket I suppose? These are made for summer/non-wet riding conditions, but they're not really light in weight. Here's my Joe Rocket mesh.... There are a ton of different brands of these things, but most are very similar.....although there can be some annoying characteristics of each. The Joe Rocket jacket has loosely fitted/removable armor, and is somewhat difficult to put on because of the armor. Look up these jackets at Motorcycle-Superstore, and read all the reviews on each jacket. There's a lot to consider. Here's another similar jacket (the brand is not available any more)....I like it better because the armor is permanently sewed into the mesh, and much easier to get on/off. And here's my Fieldshere Motomorph jacket.....from the Superstore. It has outer panels that remove, exposing a mesh jacket underneath, along with a removable inner waterproof liner. Somewhat difficult to deal with.....and not light. The first two I got cheap off Craig's List.....the Motomorf jacket was on clearance for $69.

concur with motorcycle superstore. i got a "scorpion" brand armored jacket there with a removable thermal lining for a broader range of riding temps. very reasonable shipping too.

those look too hot for here .. from March until about October, we stay in the upper 80s, lower 90's, and even get to upper 90's sometimes. I am looking for a hoodie, because I know it won't be too hot in one going down the road

^^^^^^Those are mesh jackets.....air goes right through the things. They are cool enough while moving along, up to about 90 degrees or so. I don't know anything else that would be cooler, and still provide armored protection. Armored hoodie.... new one on me.

I like the mesh jackets. I have a First Gear mesh with the armor built in. It's great in the heat...almost feels a bit air conditioned. The lining that comes with it is waterproof for those times when you need it.

I have a Tourmaster Intake mesh with 2 liners. I waer it in So. Fla. all year. If there is any breeze at all it feels cooler with the jacket on than off.

I have a Fieldsheer black armored mesh jacket with a liner. With the liner out, and going at any speed, it's like nothing at all.
