Does anybody have this scooter or know anything about it? I found a place close to me that carry these scooters for around $2000 with a 2 year warrenty. Would a Strada Eurojet be better than this or pretty much the same quality but cheaper? Just curious thanks. Here's some pics and info on em. www.cobrasales.com/303r.htm

Agreed. TGB is a quality scoot. If that is the 150cc version for that price, I think I would jump on it.

Interesting. They have that scoot in both 49cc 2 cycle and 151cc 4 cycle models. According to the specs the 150cc gets better gas milage (80 vs 60 mpg).

Must be a 4t vs. 2t thing even with the extra displacement. I've heard the TGB 2t's are pretty hot like 45 mph out of the box. More power more fuel.... Aaron

Any reason for this specific brand and model? I ask as not only are KYMCos quality well established, unofficial word from my dealer is that the Agility which is currently available as a 50cc and has a 125cc coming will be available for $2000 and they have a 2 year warranty too. Another one to look at is the Buddy, a rebadged PGO My BuBu from Genuine Scooters going for $2499 and getting very good review online especially for the surprising amount of speed from a 125, and it comes with a 2 year warranty and 1 year of road side assistance.
Right now is a very interesting time in scooters, especially ifn you've the time to wait, KYMCo has brought out a big body scooter in a 250 with a 500 expected in September, then there's the Agility as I mentioned, and the popular People line will be replaced with the People S with more modern and more integrated styling in 50, 125 and 200cc.
Genuine is replacing the sadly deceased Stella with the Buddy as mentioned above, the 50cc Black Cat and apparently there's more stuff coming, but nothing's been said officially yet.
Oh, and I forgot to mention that a few of the Chinese scoots are starting to shine too, it looks like we may finally be seeing some quality brand names developing finally.

The only reason I asked is there is a dealer near me and I can actually go and sit on this scooter, see it in person and test ride it instead of buying it over the net with site unseen. Not that there's anything wrong with that because I might be doint that anyways by purchasing the Strada Eurojet 150, but I was just curious really what everyone thought and to possibly help my deciding factor on which scoot that I'm going to purchase.

Action, there is something to be said for purchasing a scooter from a brick and mortar dealer. If you buy something on the internet you are on your own for service. Although, you have to have confidence in your dealer. As you can see by looking at other threads on this board, it can happen that some dealers don't have a clue how to fix problems and your scooter could sit in the shop for months and not get fixed properly. My favorite dealer here in Kansas City hosts a scooter club and he gets involved personally with his customers. That's the kind of dealer you want. I'm no mechanic, but I've found some scooter "mechanics" who I wouldn't let touch and of my bikes. In other words, it's kind of a crap shoot. Good luck!

I'd say I'm pretty good with the mechanic side of things. I've been building street rods, motors and even racing karts for a while now, and even worked on C-130's as a mechanic in the Air Force for the past 4 years but of course...............those aren't scooters!! Ha ha. I know I would be able to take care of the scooter myself but I guess the warranty is just a selling point. Dawg did you purchase the Strada Eurojet online or is there a dealer near you in KC? I can't find many dealers around St Louis and the only one I've found that carry the Vento Phantom F4i are asking $2200 before taxes, title, blah blah blah. The other dealer is TGB, but its more money still!

Yeah, the brick & mortar dealers are going to charge more. PSF shipped the Strada directly to me for the review. It required minimal set-up. A little battery prep, attach the mirrors and rear brake lever. Also went over it for bolts, nuts, fluid level checks and she was good to go. I'm trying to work a little deal with my favorite internet dealers to see if they will give a little extra discount for scootdawgs.
