you suck that was my first choice of scooter but i couldnt find one for my price range, which was actually 700 dollars! ended up with an 08 Benelli Andretti 150XT and SHOEI helmet for 700.
is that a short case gy6?

Oh I rather have the benelli.. Mine is only a 50cc right now. Tomos does make the nitro in a 150cc which will be my next purchase, unless I get a kymco super 8 150. As for the case I think it's a long case cause my black and yellow scoot in the pictures has a 10 inch rear wheel and the 12 inch on my tomos is to large in diameter to fit, it hits the case.

You have a really good scoot. The nitro is simular to the E-Ton sport. Almost the same scoot. If you want a really good 150 scoot check out the E-Ton Matrix. It is one of the best scoots out there for the money. It has a race tuned suspension and it really does make a difference we tested one. You may not believe it but the Tomas and the E-Ton both are better scoots then the Benelli. New you will have a much better warrantee then the Benelli. Also E-Ton will stand behind there scoot.
My friend sells the E-Ton and he had a E-Ton 4 wheeler come in that was 5 yrs old that had wiring problem. E-Ton covered the wiring harness under warrantee and it was 5 yrs old.

yah the warranty is non existent on the benelli since i bought it second hand and the company is going out of buisness...
yeah i thought it was a 150, but it still a very nice looking bike. its too hilly around here for a 50 unless you are ok with getting there next week.
the benelli is a great bike. no need to have much of a warranty when its pretty high quality to begin with, and im a mechanic. the wire harness is obviously much nicer than most Chinese scoots, (i have an 08 jonway i know trust me) and besides some maintanince, the only things ive had to do to it are body work and repair things from the spill it took. i do plan on replacing most of the rubber lines in it fairly soon once i get the jonway built and have something else to ride.

One nice thing about the E-Tons is that they have a 6 months warrantee. Like you say most Chinese scoots have none. Your Jonway as you said you know. They are just junk or that is just my opinion. Not trying to hurt any feelings jusy the way I have seen it here in Md.
We have had the E-Ton Beamers in our shop with over 20,000 actual miles on them.

Hyper, did you not get a stainless steel header pipe with your exhaust?? I would think that it would not give you the full perfomance with the stock header pipe. Just asking..

why buy a whole scoot when you could just buy a 150 gy6 and bolt it on that sweet scoot? thats what i would do... JMO

Most 50cc QMB139 are bolted on the bottom. The 150CC are bolted on top.
Plus the shock mounts are different Bill

The Leo Vince exhaust came with the mild steel header. It definately flows better than stock. With what I have done so far I can go gps verified 45 mph on the flat. But as soon as the hills come.. It drops to 25-30 mph. And I too do live in a hilly area. I live in western md. 15 miles from camp david (the presidential retreat). If I just could get some more power from it it think it would be an ok scooter but since it's built by sym (a pretty good scooter company) the case will only take certain 72mm kits due to the case size and I really don't want to bore the case and I have yet to hear of any feed back for the bbk designed for my engine...

dont they make adapter mounts? i would think since that scooter comes in 50 and 150cc, that both mounts would be easily viable. doesnt make sense money wise to build them completely different. just like low model cars still having places to bolt up the higher models pieces.

Yes all you would need to do is buy the engine cradle and weld another shock mount to the chassis. But here is the kicker, by the time you buy the engine, any electrics, mounts and another shock you would be right at a $1000. The 150 new is only $1599. I'd rather just buy the complete bike and keep my 50...

Hyper, I also live in Md but I am on the shore where it is flat. LOL sYou are right they only make certain BBK for your scxoot. It is a good scoot. Bob, yes they make the but they are almost more than his scooter cost. Why they make them that way is beyond me but it is what it is.
Two stroke are the same way they maje some with the mounts on tOP AND SOME on the bottom.
