It came! Everything is intact, and am in PDI process. Hope to get it running this weekend. I'll get some pics up. It is labeled SUNY, but made by Shanghai Shenke, so all is good.

i placed an order for 2 atv's on sunday on dirtyatvs.com. i called the guy about 5 times before he finally answered. i have asked him few question but he had no answers , he rushed me off the phone and said will call me back in 15 min. 2h later i called back and he did not even remember me. long story short, he said transit time from Ca to PA is 12 days and that it will ship same day. i did not get any confirmation from him so far. i'll keep you posted. i was about to send few friends to him since there was a group of us that were looking at buying atv's but so far i'm not impressed with customer service and will wait till i get my atv's to send him more business.

They usually ship them by Train to your city cause it is really cheap, then a drop shipper picks it up and they will then call you for delivery. But while it is on the Train you get no updates.
So the best you can do Is get the Drop Shipper company that will deliver it you. They have more info on when the train will arrive. You know Slow train to china thing. Lefty

Got my call from WARD Trucking who let me know they "could" deliver this Saturday... it would have to be this week I have family to entertain!!!
So I have pushed back delivery until next Tuesday. I have to say their "GUARANTEE all orders to deliver within 7 business days once the order leaves our warehouse" does seem accurate.
Either way, I have the camera ready to document the delivery and the unpacking... which is all I will be able to do as I would have to get back to work. But the PDI will be started the Thursday following delivery.

The guy does have horrible customer service - like attempting to contact him. But if you do a search for MrScooter you will see that even though he is difficult to reach - everyone received their orders without issue.

He is probably what they call ALL IN ONE guy, mechanic, sales, parts and he has no help, plus he has his own life to live. Lefty ;D Probably 100% truth. As long as I get a bike and have a "paper/eMail" trail of issues (so as to make use of the warranty IN CASE it is needed)... I have no issues in ordering from him - prices are reasonable and works for me.

its great that you think that, i bet you will change your mind once something goes wrong with your purchuse. how do you get FREE Techical Support from person that never answers his phone, how do you get in touch if you need new part sent? Price is low, but with this guy you get what you paid for.

its great that you think that, i bet you will change your mind once something goes wrong with your purchuse. Probably not - that's why God gave people intelligence (I know my way around a toolkit) and made resource sites like ScootDawg ;D. God also made some of those people mechanics too. Price is low, but with this guy you get what you paid for. You do realise that these are CHINESE scooters, right? Regardless of where you buy from - you get what you pay for ;D

Thanks That's probably why there is such as thing as buyer beware. If a buyer runs out to buy a "Chinese" scooter (or anything for that matter) without doing proper research (and get burnt) - they deserve all the stupidity God gave them. After researching all I could find about Chinese scooters - here and on many other websites and forums - I read up about this seller. All the information directed that this seller has issues in customer communication but, ultimately, delivers a product as advertised.

I have had my mrscooters Shenke for a week. Everything arrived about 99% undamaged (a couple of plastic tabs/speed nuts were broken), and I did the 'Big Guy's PDI' So far everything is going great. I am not savvy enough to post pics here yet, but I am happy with how it went together and now runs. I know what mrscooters is like. Like a previous poster said...you hear nothing and shazam a scooter shows up...my experience was great so far...

Update: Received the scooter on May 31, approx 2 weeks after the order was placed. He said it would only take a week, then he changed it and said he had some scratches fixed. The BMS Pathfinder 200 scooter arrived on Tues, May 31, by Townie shipping. The shipping guy arrives by himself and almost forces me to help him unload it off the truck. Lucky I have a strong back b/c that was a tough truck unload. Unwrap the scooter and there are several scratches. They also forgot to include the steering bolt and spacer along with the rack bolt. I tried to call Mr Scooter to no avail (9 times out of ten he will not answer) so I called BMS Motorsports headquarters. They said they would send the bolts out that day and they will have to get approval for the scratch repair. A week rolls by and I didn't receive nothing. Called BMS and he said he got the panels and bolts approved under warranty and will ship it out, he even sent a picture of the box to ship out.
As for the PDI on the scooter, I changed the oil to Valvoline Durablend 10w40, Mobile 1 Synth gear oil, NGK iridium CR7HIX spark plug and slow trickle charged the battery. Later on I plan on changing the fuel lines to the clear blue polyurethane 3/16" that I bought and change the vacuum lines as well. I waited until I received the certificate of origin and bill of sale before dropped gas in it. I received the paper work about a week after I received the scooter. I added 89 octane Shell gas in the scooter. I took 3 tries and then it started right up. The scooter starts right up every time now. I was pleasantly surprised how quick this scooter is. I regularly beat cars off the line and a half twist of the throttle takes me to 50 mpg easy. After three rides I put 187 miles on it so far and I love this scooter. I hope it stays this smooth and quick for a long time.
Conclusion: Mr Scooter delivers the goods but NOT as fast as he claims. His customer service is pretty bad. He almost never answers his phone and doesn't reply to emails. I would recommend to buy from this dealer but be forewarned that it WILL take at least two weeks to receive the item and you will get terrible customer service. Although from what I hear most online dealers have bad customer service.
The most important thing is that you will get what you ordered.
Here is a video I put together chronicling the delivery and set up of my new BMS pathfinder 200:

Quick question, because my order also took 2 weeks - are you counting from the day you ordered or from the day the item shipped? I started the clock from when the item shipped from their warehouse - as per their claim that all items delivered within 7 days after shipping from them (which they delivered on). I tried to call Mr Scooter to no avail (9 times out of ten he will not answer) so I called BMS Motorsports headquarters. They said they would send the bolts out that day and they will have to get approval for the scratch repair. A week rolls by and I didn't receive nothing. I'd like to use this as an example of bad customer service and not just from MrScooters - this is from BMS directly. So if a large company, such as BMS, has a problem in getting back to customer - is it really any surprise a drop-shipper does the same if that is how the "big-boys" do it? Conclusion: Mr Scooter delivers the goods but NOT as fast as he claims. His customer service is pretty bad. He almost never answers his phone and doesn't reply to emails. And, even though I am still a n00b, this seems the same across the board from numerous companies - although some are better than others. Bottom line - research and make the decision best suited to you. Until then, Happy Scooting. p.s. - Excellent video. Really well done.

all of you have a point, its great that he delivers but he sets expectations high and that is where he is failing to deliver. i hate the fact that i have bought atv's week ago and so far did not get my tracking #, email or a call and that makes me uneasy. i hope this goes well...

According to many on this forum many drop-shippers are the same on their customer service - look at it like this. The guy got your order - again there those (me included) that believe this is a single-man operation - 4 days ago. When he finally sat down and went through his 'order list' he saw the item was not in stock and you were informed...
Also, I don't think 4 days is really that long of a time to be told the item is not in stock. If he was really as despicable as you think - he could have took your money and not bothered telling you, just waited it out until you finally had enough.
Is his customer service severely lacking - hell yes. But I don't think this guy set 'expectations' high (how he did this, I don't know).

He's just someone who is INUNDATED with orders and doesn't care about any particular one. He's not out to scam anyone, he just doesn't seem to think that personal contact is necessary when he is doing what he thinks he needs to do. Definitely some resellers need to go to customer service school at Applebee's to learn how to properly treat a customer.
I'll say that I literally have customers telling me I'm NOT charging enough money! It's because I sit and talk to each one for up to 1/2 hour calmly answering all of their questions and giving them my FULL attention (no phone calls, etc) and am 100% straight with them about the reliability and longevity of these scooters. They keep coming back too. Sold 3 today!

@ Asiny
I counted from the day I placed the order. It took only a week to be delivered. According to Mr. Scooter, he had to go with another shipping company b/c the one he normally uses didn't ship to my area

Interesting - I read you had an issue with the delivery. I almost was ready to see the same issue - but with another shipper used. WARD trucking. When they called to arrange delivery they asked if I had a forklift to get the bike off the truck. When I told them I ordered (paid) for liftgate service - they said, not a problem it was a miscommunication and will be sure to arrange the liftgate service.... From reading your post it seems as though Townie never called and, perhaps, brought that fact to your attention. Bad customer service - not just for drop-shippers of Chinese Scoots ;D

asinylmao! Who in the hell keeps a forklift in their garage? Townie did call me to schedule delivery. They never mentioned I HAD to help driver load it on the forklift on the truck. It was hot as hell that day too.

lmao! Who in the hell keeps a forklift in their garage? In the words of Sheriff Bart, "Excuse me, while I whip this out" My thoughts exactly. I'm hoping for it to be on the < 50% chance of rain for Tuesday delivery... but that weather prediction can change as much as the weather.
