I took a road trip this weekend on the LongBo and decided that the 150cc just did not have enough in the get up and go department. Unfortunately the Vespa dealer offered me a solution to the problem and I have just dropped a chunk of change on a Grandturismo 200L: It comes fully equipted with get up and gone.
Lesson Learned : Do not go into the scooter dealer's show room to get out of the sun. The driveway is starting to get crowded.

What do you mean too crowded? I see enought room to fit another one in there if you scoot them over just a little bit.

1984 Honda Elite 125cc is behind the garage door. Best I can figure, it is in dire need of a new CDI.

You gotta admit the Grandturismo is SEXXY! If I had the coin......still holding out for the 1968 Vespa Rally 180 project. I have first refusal on it! My dad's 81 year old neighbor still thinks he may ride it again someday. If it makes him happy to dream let it be. It's in a heated basement it will be fine till he's ready to part with her.

Saw your write up on scootdawg.com I loved it !!!! My scoot looks exactly the same as yours only it is called a SUN L I was riding 30 miles one way five days a week until the engine farted out on me but I am beginning more and more to suspect it was the shop machanics inexperience with scoots that caused the problem. feul air mix that type of thing I was there the day he took it out of the crate and know for a fact it had never had a spark plug check to see if it was rich or lean. Once I get everything straightened out I am going to plan long trips on mine. Would have Loved to gone to Key West !!!!
