Lefty I think you'll find this interesting. I took a voltage reading directly off the battery before I started the trike it read 13.27. trike idling 14.55 headlights on 12.89 and (here's the shocker, until I thought about it) high beams on 12.98.
These measurements were all taken at idle. I have gobs of LED running lights and they are using little to no power at all. I have an accessory plug to run my GPS. Later I'll run the numbers to power the GPS. Coinicidently the voltage reading did not drop off as the trike sat an idled so the trike charging system appears to be doing it's job.

Leeinark, Now that is a FANTASTIC charging system. Wish all the scoots would put out that much so people would not have to worry about adding accessories. They must come with a nice big stator with a lot of pole windings and a hell of a Regulator/Rectifier. Good info for others to go by and measure their 300s charging system. Lefty

Lefty: Yeah I too was very surprised. I expected about a little over 12 volts to start and at idle I figured with headlights on it would barely be charging...but I was wrong and I'm happy about that.
