Well, I still haven't had time to work on the Magnum but I did have time to mount my new handlebars which has a 7" rise and 9" pullback. They are BikeMaster Nighhawk from JPCycles, here's the link. I mounted them during my lunch break at work (I go home for lunch). It was a piece of cake, but I could not have spared another inch with the wiring harness for the turn signal side. It is to its limit. I think they look good and sitting on the bike I can tell I should have a lot more control over steering as well. Now all I got to do is get the scoot to running and test them out!

I should update this already. I got the Magnum running. After installing the bars I called into work and took the rest of the day off. Found I had mis-installed the automatic choke and a wire came loose from the coil (probably from when I had it towed). Got all that corrected and now it is running as good as ever. The wife is going to be surprised. Since she has her Can-Am now I'm thinking of letting my 20 year old use it for work and school. He's in college and his campus is only about 5 miles away.

Checker: handlebars look fantastic. I mis-understood you I thought you were just going with risers. I'm really glad you got the magnum up and running. Good show.

Checker, Fantastic!! Most likely the no start was that the wire came off the Coil when riding and hitting bumps. The Choke installed wrong would not cause the spark plug not to fire, it would cause hard starting and or sluggish once it started. And your 20 year old will have all the girls wanting a ride home Lefty

Just thought I'd throw up a couple more pictures in case someone wants to get a better look at these bars. Also notice the aftermarket mirrors. I thought the vibration would be really bad since the mirrors are long stem, but surprisingly the vibration is not all that bad. You can see in them pretty good so they're functional. Thought I'd throw in this rather blurry picture of my wife coming back from a test ride after getting the scoot fixed and with the new bars. She likes it.

Good morning all. I'm a brand new member & happy to be part of the network of trike enthusiasts. I am a paraplegic from Australia living in Cebu, Philippines now. Can anyone give me the prices they paid on the Magnum 300cc Trike. I'm getting quotes from $1,100- $3,400us??? Is this trike made by different china manufacturers who brand it as theirs. What are the owners on this Forum, opinion of the trike. Thanku for any feedback.. David Read more: scootdawg.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=36101#ixzz1Do3BdYJX

Wheelcome Wheelchair user, Here in the states for the 300cc Trikes the cheapes I found was $3,900.00 and that is without shipping charges. So if you can pick a 300cc for Under $2,000.00 that is a good deal. The MCOs come with the manufactuer as being Daix in China. Dealers just give them their own special names. As for who actually builds them in china is a mystery, there are probably put together by any number of china factories. There are no rules over there so you really do not know if they all come out of one factory or several. Lefty
