Is this actually suppose to work? ahhahaha. Lee, if it IS suppose to, I hope yours works better than mine, cause mine doesn't work at all! ;D

Kick start works fine on mine. I'm curious on your new '06 who is listed as the manufacturer of your Matrix. It'll be on the EPA label probably inside your glove box. Mine is Wangye but I heard a rumor that UM had switched to QJ for making this bike. Both are fine manufacturers.

Mine is a Wangye as well. I don't know, maybe I'm doing something wrong.
I put it on the center stand and I turn the key to the "on" position. Then I pull one of the brakes and step on the kick starter...but nothing happends.

Sometimes it helps to give it a little throttle as you kick it. Especially if its cold.

Well...it feels like it's connected to a couple of stripped gears. I'll try to pull it apart this weekend.

Took it to the dealer and he said I just have to kick it harder. So I did...and it fired up. I suck at life. ahhah
