Has anyone seen these ridiculous things? We just got 6 new Vento Triton clones from Sunny, 4 strokes, and all of them came with a 14mm carb with no accelerator pump. I'm going to swap them to an 18mm carb with a high flow to bring the performance back up to where it should be but I'm baffled why you would choke a bigger bike so badly when it already has a tiny engine. These poor bikes only do 25mph single riding and just forget riding 2 up right now.

Because most states say it has to do 30mph or less. With a 14mm carb you won't have too worry about that. Maybe thats the new way they are going to be restricted, keep us posted as to how much better it runs from just switching carbs. Maybe that's all you have to do with these new Scooters.

Those are the exact scooters I am referring to. All the screws on the carb have the heads plugged with epoxy and yes the mix screw has a cap. After testing one with the larger carb and air filter one of the bikes went from 28 to 35 mph with no other mods.
