Jim: I took the trunk off of the 300 Magnum scooter. I noticed the bracket was flatter on one side than the other so I flipped it over. I added spacers I made to fit inside the trunk box and the bracket to make it a tighter fit to the scooter. I also took some LOWES door insulation rubber and molded it to the valley in the top of the trunk lid. It does not vibrate at all and is very sturdy now. The set back of the trunk bracket being flipped over now ensures I can open the seat all the way without hitting anything else on the bike. On a second note, any idea what the difference in top speed might be if I go from the stock 190/50-12 tire to a 205/50-12? I have no idea what the difference is in diameter or circumference between the two. The 205 has an OD of 18.5"

This is the way I did it. First I had t make new holes in the trunk because they did not line up with the black plate. After that I put weather stripping between the black plate and the trunk box. This took away the lower vibration. Then I put weather stripping in the canal area around the rim. this took care of all of the vibrations. Hope that helps??
