Hey guys and gals. I had my first wipe out today. Nothing serious. Just a few bumps and bruises. And it was my fault as I should have known better. I was riding down a hill and not thinking did not slow down enough. As I came to the turn at the bottom with a 90degree turn I did not have enough time to slow down and went to lean to the right to make it and well to far for me. I went sliding across the street. Shoulder got banged up a little, and my left elbow has a few scrapes but that's the extent of it.
Scooter needs a new paint job on the right side and I need a new mirror but i see this as a lesson learned. Don't be a moron like me hehe slow down on those hills.

Oh, the scooter is fine. I rode it after getting back up and doing a quick inspection. The body got a little scratched up and my mirror bent but that was the extend of the damage. I'm not even worried about the looks as the seat needs to be replaced first. Its old and ripped. I am an auto body guy so a little sanding, and a quick paint job and it will be good as new. Gotta love Honda's.

plastic bonding...
I like to use epoxy and fiberglass (or something similar) on the inside and outside of a crack. Then you sand it down smooth, use bondo for a nice clean look, primer and then paint.

gee lucky for your scooter I live in nyc I ordered my scooters in silver duct tape matches well. My biggest fear makes me think when i was a little boy my father was tightening a bolt on my bicycle with a combination wrench ( 7/16 or 1/2 inch) and it snapped with a nice knuckel bust. nyc pot holes lets not temp fate.
