I have had my PST 150-11 Ice Bear Trike for about 13 months now. Having no available indoor parking, my Ice Bear lives outside. I only ride it a few miles a week, which is why it only has about 350km. Recently I noticed something had leaked and left a small puddle on the ground. Upon closer inspection I found the front brake master to be low. So I added some brake fluid, I could not figure what had leaked, or from where. Considering that engine oil, and brake fluid are about the only fluids there are to leak, and where the puddle was located I was quite sure it was the brake fluid that was leaking. After adding brake fluid, I applied full front brake, and held it there looking for leaks, no leaks could be found, all the brake lines, and the caliper were dry. A few days later I could see that the front master had leaked, and some brake fluid had ran on to the painted surfaces, and had lifted the paint. While I was wiping off the brake fluid, when I started to wipe off the master cylinder, The little sight glass on the master cylinder disintegrated. Appearently the cheap chinese plastic used, does not hold up well, when exposed to direct sunlight. One of my local Ice Bear dealers says he more than likely has one in stock, he will need to see the old one first and it will only set me back about $50.00.
