Hello, thank you for looking....
So I have a 50cc bravo soliel moped with a 70cc bore kit and an upgraded carburetor...it was running fine a couple of days ago accept it wasnt hitting its max speed so I decided to clean the carb, I took everything appart cleaned it and put it back together....now it wont start!!!!
I am fairly positive I know the problem, it is not getting fuel into the cylinder for the spark plug to ignite...I sprayed some gas into the cylinder put the spark plug in and it started for about 5 seconds then died out so I know its getting spark and I know it can start. Something to do with the fuel from the carb not getting into the head. Any help will be appreciated (it is geting fuel into the carburetor though)
Thank you

This may sound obvious but I got to ask.... did you inadvertently swap the petcock vacuum control hose with the fuel supply hose?

No I didn't swap them. Vacuum and fuel lines are correct
Thanks

How's the float level? Is the idle jet clear? Does the slide move up and down freely?

I will try to clean the jets now and yes the slide moves freely up and down, float is also good

Well you are still not getting gas. When you took the carb off did you take out the Air/Fuel mixture to clean that out as well? If you did you may have screwed it back in and screwed it in to much and now it is to LEAN and or RICH. Also check the Vacuum hose from your intake to make sure it is connected either to the Petcock or a "T" connection. Make sure everything is tight and no air leaks where the carb connects to the intake. Alleyoop

Before spending any more time on it, just for the heck of it install a new spark plug.

ok I changed the sparkplug yesterday...however I didnt mess with the fuel/air screw, I left that alone when I cleaned it...just picked up a new vacuum hose and put that on....it was almost like the engine was seizing, it would shut down and would be unable to crank, but after a few seconds it would be, seems like that is not good for the moped so I stopped riding it, I took apart the carb again
