It all depends on what you want. The Compeller is longer than the Magnum and still comes with a rear straight axel. They Both have the same power plant and both now come with trunks. The independent rear suspension will ride better and the tire size has been changed. It really boils down to what you like. The nose is a lot longer on the Compeller which may cause some getting use too. I have not heard of any CV problems as of yet. You can view both with specs here www.rapidrepair.webs.com/250cc.htmGood luck on your decision. Jim

Royldawg, I think here is your answer: If where you live your streets are bumpy, uneven or dirt roads you would do better with the Compeller with the independant suspension. If the streets that your going to be using are relatively in good shape then the straight axle is not a problem. The straight axle is really not a problem with uneven streets but the rear will bounce around lot more. Alleyoop

I think there is a little confusion here! It's the MAGNUM that has the independent rear suspension, not the Compeller. I think I would have to recommend the Magnum....I own the Compeller and it takes the bumps HARD. I haven't ridden a Magnum so I don't know...but I can make an educated guess. I haven't been here for what seems like a month of Sundays. I had to hang it up for the season and actually, don't know if I will be able to ride anymore. I'll wait and see...and pray a lot but I am being real. I sure miss riding......all that anticipation. Good luck whichever trike you decide on! Thank you for the input. I like both but going to look at the pros and cons of each before I decide. Did a thorough research of both an am leaning toward the magnum. Wonder if it is possible to put magnum rear suspension on a compeller. Thank you again. Roy Anything is possible but it wouldn't be cost effective to do. I would suspect that eventually IB will change the Compeller to independent suspension like the magnum is now, but as of yet there are no plans as to when. Jim/Owner Rapid Repair
