Hello all, I see so many sites selling what looks like the same 150cc trike. So I gues I want to know where is the best with good customer service. I want the TYPE H or 11 or mc-vo1 depending on whos web site you on..lol,, I live in the mnts of NC so hills/mnts are a part of the travel. I want a trike that pulls well up hills and has some get up and go. I also want a good selections of HOP -UP parts too.. Thanks Randy

From what I have been told and have researched myself you do not want reverse! in the 2009 trikes they had bad gears and such that messed the whole thing up, so that's why the 2010s don't have it. I just got a 150H from www.superiorpowersports.com/Trike_Three_Wheeler_s/86.htm and I liked them pretty well. At the time I got one they did a free PDI but now I think it's $99 but it's worth it! Sandy helped me she's pretty nice if you want to talk to someone their. RapidJim is also VERY nice! Good luck!

cvn71, If you have a lot of HILLS and I mean HILLS, then I would suggest a bigger trike than the 150cc. The 150cc produces only about 8.5 horsepower at 7500rpms. Now don't forget a PST150H weighs in at 353lbs the -11 weighs in at 393lbs the -9 weighs in at 293 or close to those numbers. If they are not actual hills but just rolling mounds then it would be fine but if its real hills I think you need at least a 250 or 300cc Trike. Just my Opinion Alleyoop

cvn71,
I agree with Alley. If you have real hills you may not be satisfied with a 150. We do sell quite a few 300cc and 50cc. Seems most people buy the 50 because they do not want to get a cycle endorsement and those that already have it bypass the 150 and elect to go with a 300.
We do provide excellant customer service whether you but from us or just looking for advice or parts. Take a look at other posts that have been posted by me and others in this section.
Feel free to contact me if you are interested. I can sure get you want you want whether it be a 150 or 300.

Hey cvn71,
I'm not sure where in the mtns of NC that you live, but I live in Franklin, NC. I've had my PST-150/11 for about 9-months now. It is an excellent trike. I have about 1,500 miles and I've done very little modding. I removed the broken chain guard and never put it back on, its not needed. I put a better muffler on it and a better air filter and that is all the modding I've done. The trike cruises at about 50-55mph now and on steep hills it goes about 35mph. I plan to put on a racing variator kit, probably a Dr. Pulley set, this will give me more climbing power, but I don't plan to do it until next year. I ordered mine from a group out of Acworth, Ga. I got it for a great price but not the best support, and I had to put some of it together, which I didn't mind because I could make sure it went together right. I use ScootDawg forum as my support because there is more good info. at this site on the Ice Bear than anywhere else. If you are interested in ordering from Acworth, Ga. just drop me a message and I will send you the info.

Fleaboy2, Good info about handling the hills. If it had a few more ponies it would handle them at a more respectable speed. They are nice and heavy Trikes and if they had a little more horses they would be excellent on the hills.
By the way, what filter did you put on that you did not have to re-jet? Alleyoop
