I am planning a long distance road trip (~800 miles) on my CF Moto E Charm and I was concerned that it wouldn't be able to handle the steep grades on my trip (6%). I decided to take the scoot out on a test ride on the steepest public road I could find in Phoenix which happened to be South Mountain park. This route has some SERIOUSLY steep hills at around 15% in some parts. Tried it out with the car first to see if it was feasible and then with the scoot the next day. Scooter handled it just like it would any other road and in fact the engine ran slightly colder than usual (lower temps at higher alt?). When telling people about my plans for my trip, there had been a lot of people doubting the climbing abilities of a 150, but the echarm seems to do just fine and was able to sustain top speed just fine! Hopefully I'll be showing you guys pictures of Vegas when the desert gets cold enough for a safe trip.

I just got back from a nice ride up South Mountain myself! Here are some pics. I only live about 5 mins from the park, so if you or anyone else in the Phoenix area wants to cruise up there, let me know!

I used to live in phoenix I loved to go to South mount. at night. That mountain only had 3 towers on it then. Now it looks more like a pin cushin. Poor thing!
