This post was lost when we lost a months worth of scooter poop, so I am posting it again. Trikers, As you may or may not know one of our Triker Friends Aileronjack is disabled and can only get around in a wheelchair. He has the Ice Bear PST150-9 Trike. So if he wants to go into town with his Trike by himself and stop and get a cup of coffe he can't. He has to have his wife follow him in the truck. So I googled for something that I thought might exist or for an idea to help Jack be more self suffiecent. And I found the following: www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkfOTHp0VPo&feature=player_embeddedI then emailed Jack and asked if something like the above would be of help. And asked if it would be alright if I had one made up for him using my Trike as the Setup Trike. He agreed and today it became a reality I will be shipping it to Jack Monday. Here is my Trike and the WheelChair Carrier. Alleyoop

Al has been a huge supporter and I want to thank him for all his efforts. Just a quick report. I have the bike at a mechanics right now getting a little tweaking done on it. One of the things he will be doing is of course installing the carrier. I can't wait. It's still hot down here in louisiana, but there are a few fronts starting to make their way this far. Big Guy has been a huge supporter as well. He's been able to provide technical support whne needed and parts. Thanks Big Guy! The cool thing about the scootdawg community is the readiness and the willingness of those with skills, knowledge, and intellect to offer assistance to those of us with less abilities. Here's a big shout out to all the guys that do so.

Awsome Alley!! do you need to modify the transmission or engine?since trike are a little bit heavier than a regular scoot.? can a 250cc scoot make a good trike? or 400cc is ideal?? just curious here.

Luke, No modifications are necessary, it bolts onto Two Existing Bolt holes that are already part of the Frame where the Axle mounts to. The mount and and carrier can completely be taken off or just the Carrier itself leaving the mount on the Trike. The wheelchair only weighs 30lbs and the -09 Trike is one of the lighter Trikes it weighs under 300lbs. The engine has plenty of torque and will hall butt even carrying the Carrier and Wheelchair.
Yes a 250 or above make good trikes, as you can see I just bought a 2008 Suzuki 650 Executive with a Voyager trike kit on it total weight is 775lbs. Personally I think the heavier the Trike the better, makes you feel more secure. Alleyoop

Just wanted to post the photo of the carrier that Alley oop and his peeps put together for me. Took it for a ride yesterday and it fits the bill for getting me off the bike at destinations of travel. That problem was a huge "pain in the derierre", literally. Thanks Al Jack
