Yes sir, Stan IS the man. At first I thought it was a Walbro clone until I saw that little thingymajiggy sticking down. What is that thing anyway?

When you say thingymajiggy are you talking about the accelerator pump on the lower left in the photo?

Yep. Is this why the Keihin doesn't have a vacuum line like the Walbro?

Well, I search both places here and they do not stock jets nor universal air filters. I am looking for a uni-filter clamp on model....
Any recommendations on where to get either???

They have the jets, they just won't bother to go look if they can't find it in their computer! You can get Keihin jets at www.rageperformance.com/carburetorparts.asp in just about any size you could want. Measure the OD of the air intake and the local MC shop that caters to dirt bikes will carry UNI filters for them. Stan

If you have a Keihin Cvk carb and cant get the proper filter, I can hook you up. I will take pics of mine if you want me too.

ooopseyesharted - Please take a photo and let me know what kinda air filter you can get. I saw this one by uni filter - xr50.stores.yahoo.net/unidustairfi2.html - that should fit, but it may be too long 4+ inches. I found this one, www.scooter-assassins.com/ChineseScootersPage.html , but I hear folks having problems with ordering from them. I hope I can get some jets from local shop as it looks like if I order off web i'll pay about $xx.xx more than geting them from local shop.

You'll pay about the same if you can get them locally, but you won't pay freight which is a killer on a small cheap item like jets. Usually, you will need to relocate the filter to avoid the cross member that is often directly behind the carb. This is easily done with a piece of a radiator hose and a short length of aluminum or exhaust tubing. If your scooter doesn't have an inner fender, you need to get the filter away from the spray path of the tire anyway. Also, be sure you use some filter oil on foam filters. Stan
