2007 Tank Urban Racer TR16, 3400 chinometers. I had the center cover off, still looking it over. Suggestions on fixing the seam on the seat?

Probably the best solution would be to have the seat recovered......the vinyl is most likely shrunk enough that if the seam were stitched back together, it would split again soon enough.
Try a local boat dealer, or an ATV dealer......their seats are subject to the same issues. They can direct you to places that recover the thing. I've seen prices quoted about $60-$75 for "marine grade" vinyl.
Nice scoot you've got there.......my ITA 150 is similar.

Bluefront,
That's a great idea, I know a local boat guy that would probably do it.
Thanks

While you're at it, go over to a Walmart and find a small indoor/outdoor floor mat (about $6). They'll cut out and attach with Velcro......probably the best appearance mod you can do to these scoots. Plus it protects the plastic floor because the back of the carpet is sealed and won't let water through.

I'm sure you see my zip-ties everywhere.

You could go for a temporary/ghetto fix using a cheap auto small-bucket seat cover. I've seen these at the dollar stores for a couple of bucks. With a little rigging, they fit pretty good........
