Has any body ordered and installed an alarm on their trike. I see alarms that plug into your scooter, but I have no idea if the Icebear trike has a 5 wire system or an 8 wire system or what? Called the tech support from where I purchased the trike and they were not able to help. Any body know the Icebear system and what alarm to purchase??? Triker98304

According to the factory, the IB trikes do not have a plug available for diectly plugging in an alarm system. I am researching how others do it with factory alarms and trying to find a wiring diagram for one of those machines. I have wired alarms in cars and trucks so I wouldn't think it to be a big deal to hard wire an alarm on a scooter, once I find a diagram to tell me the inputs. Factory alarms are available on my parts website so I just need to get a diagram for one of the bikes they fit.
More to come.

I was able to find a diagram from another brand scooter to figure the alarm wiring out. I have an alarm in stock that will work just fine if you hard wire it. Contact me by email, phone or private message if you are interested.

I'm about to buy my first scooter, was wondering if there are any "inexpensive" options for gps tracking devices?

The IB 150-9 has the alarm plug behind the headlight back by the handle bars. Mine had one green jumper wire between two terminal spots. It was a quick and easy install. The alarm has an off button so it does not have to be on all the time, you simply trigger it when the trike is paarked outside. The battery has not gone down once in two weeks. See the above link to know what alarm I got. Keep the shiny side up and the rubber side down. Triker98304

Yo Dawgs, Triker98304 was right. I know the last posting was back in 2010 but the Ice Bear trike does have a plug for an alarm. Plug & play to boot. At least the one I received did. Which was an Ice Bear Cyclone PST150C 2011. I ordered an Alarm and paid a whole $26.98 USD and it hooked right up with remote start to boot. Keep in mind that I am still in the testing phase. I installed mine while doing the PDI. I stripped the trike down to the front and after checking all the wires...I found the one plug that Triker98304 (Thanks for the info) was talking about. This is the one I bought: cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270601296567#ht_2968wt_941
