If doing it all over again? Or recommend one to a family member or friend? What are things that have gone wrong with yours, how much has it cost you, and what has it cost you in trike "downtime." After reading this forum this morning and trying to measure the pros and cons, i am starting to second guess the purchase, as its for a senior woman who isn't a mechanic Nothing bothers me so much except these drivetrain issues. Failed trans, jumps and shudders, flawed differentials, and a post by a guy who loved his "Super Trike" when it was new and had 350m on the odo, but may now need a whole new engine thanks to his trans blowing out! A 2010 -11 model is to be purchased, but i am wondering if any real improvements have been made besides eliminating the reverse gear? So, honest answers, would YOU do it again? And might you suggest a used scooter (honda, yamaha, etc) with a mini trike conversion at this point instead of an Ice Bear? Or even an Ice Bear converted two wheeler? Which would essentially be like adding training wheels to a regular scooter with its rear wheel still driving the whole thing. What do you guys think?

no sir I would not buy an ICE-SWEAR trike again! usual chinese stuff- which is okay if you are patient and dont mind buying plenty of replacement parts. but getting the thing to work while dealing with the "WARRANTY" is pure and evil hell!!
dont bother!
maybe i am COMPLETELY JADED, but for good reason. I purchased from HOLLYWOODSINC online. these people are completely worthLESS in helping support a product they sell.
i feel better getting that out!!!
cheers

bought a wj 200st-6 trike 4weeks ago with 300mls on clock, only did 30mls before the secondary clutch packed in, got that fixed, now the back wheels are loose at the hub, information as to what to do seems in short supply, anywho to answer your question, they look great but should have just looked at the pitures instead of buying one, regards, bob.

If you buy ANY CHINESE SCOOT, TRIKE, BICYCLE whatever you better have some mechanical knowledge, unless you have a mechanic that will work on them. Now mind you the only reason they will not work on them is because you did not buy it from them and or their scooters they sell and have to order the parts. If you buy a HONDA,SUZUKI or BRAND SCOOT you better have some BUCKS in your PIGGY BANK cause it will COST YOU to have it fixed. Every trip to the dealer that you have to make for any fix will run you $300-500 and that is not for any high priced part like a Fuel Pump, Belt, Brakes, Stator, Starter etc.. A maintenace check on a SUZUKI runs right at $200.00 and that is just to check everything out and give you an oil change. If it needs something that is extra labor + Parts. When you buy from online, DO NOT EXPECT service and or Knowledge of what they sell. 99% are suits with phones taking orders and then ordering from a Distributor that then ships it to you direct. The online site never sees the scoot or how it is wrapped or anything. All the BULL they say about warranty and PDI is all B.S. A lot of them even give you the option for an extended Warranty which is worthless and they also throw in the FREE PDS worth $99.00(remember to do that they would have to UNCRATE the SCOOT check it over do whatever and then RE-CRATE it, YEA RIGHT I BELIEVE THAT ) re-crating a scoot costs way more then $99.00 alone. People just fall for this stuff, I do not understand it, they are out to get your money and people just do not check the seller out before putting down some good dollars. Use common sense, you can already see they lie about what the scoot can do. You should know what speeds each size cc scoot is likely to do realistically, 50ccs in the 30mph range, 150cc in the 50mph range, 250s in the 60mph range(TRUE U.S.A MPH NUMBERS). The Chino meters will register much higher, and can be anywhere from 10-20% off on the high side. 150 65+mph(in what hurricane), 50cc 50mph(again in what hurricane), 300cc IB Trike 80mph(maybe throwing off the grand canyon) etc.. Yep I have the Magnum 300 and except for claimed top speed I love it but it was not without some work to dial it all in. GPS says it runs about 56 tops. 40 to 45 all day long. It is now super reliable and cranks right up no sweat. I ride it more than my CB 900 Honda.

Daaaaaaa....Here we go again... Start my engine I'am gonna run...... Silver Bullet is my ride =Magnum 300cc Trike Ice Bear= You can go back and read all about this lady, a real problem child, I am #2 owner of her. If your like me and can't afford $30,000 for a basic Harley the IB is a fine little machine. There is a lot of work to getting one up and running the way ya want, people like Lee in AR and myself, we gotta tinker and things gotta be just right, takes time.
I was just today talking to to Harley trike owners and both said they are always checking and doing things on their bikes too.....They were really amazed when I told them the price of one. I meet these guys cruisen at 60 milis an hour for 10-15 minutes than we pulled into the coffee shop. I use a GPS abd have got 68mph and mine is stock over 800 miles on it.
Warranty issues a as good as the dealer you buy from.....I have a major axle problem and am receiving a replacement at no charge and no hassle from dealer or Ice Bear...Ice bear said they were sorry I had this failure and replacement is on the way.
YESSSS I would buy again
I remember 40 years ago when I bough a Honda and a Yamaha...........Same questions and same answers
Where isss my Hat??
Mike..10 cents worth.....
