Seems these are hard to come by so I'm looking for both used or new rear rim for my JCL MP250A.
Let me know if you have one you're willing to part with
Thanks!

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, I've tried one of their rims which I thought was the most similar to the one I have and it didn't work. I even called them to ask them and they couldn't tell me. Still searching...

Track down JR either here or at scooterdoc. I remember he listed a site with a bunch of rims for a JCL 250.

I got a replacement for a Roketa (you can see the pic above) and it didn't work, so I'm kind of uneasy trying to get a rim that is not specifically for the JCL MP250A...

well, the JCL MP250A is the same bike as the Roketa MC-54-250B. It has the Linhia clone engine and uses a different rear wheel then the CFmoto clone engined MC-54-250 like mine. whats weird is that the JCL parts diagram is showing two different rear wheels www.jclusa.com/parts_details_table.php?proid=273&lb=810&page=JCL-MP250A-sellparts-ENGINEASSEMBLY(3)48-yy looks like a CFmoto wheel, while 48-BZ looks like the linhai wheel. If you look at the brake disk on the same page you can see that there is no way that is going to fit on the 48-yy wheel.

If you look at the brake disk on the same page you can see that there is no way that is going to fit on the 48-yy wheel. It's damn hard to tell the difference. Looking carefully at the 2 pics, it seems that the rim from Roketa I got was like the "MP250A-03-48-YY" and it didn't fit. From looking at the pics and trying to remember what the rim that didn't fit looked like, I'd be tempted to say that the one that would fit would be the "MP250A-03-48-BZ". I will try to call Greddy at JCL tomorrow to clarify this. Thanks for the link. Maybe we're getting closer at identifying the rim. Problem is, I'm leaving California for 3 weeks tomorrow to Virginia and won't be able to check anything on the scooter :-( I'm going to have a real good look tomorrow before I leave and will post what I find out. I did post in a different scootdawg.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=200cc&thread=31140&page=1#314330 thread initially and put 2 pictures of the rim from RoketaPartsOnline.com and another one from JCL. These 2 rims look very similar but the Roketa rim didn't fit. You can see on the pics in that thread that the 3 bolt holes are pretty close when compared to the other rim on the JCL parts page. It really seems like the rim I need is the "BZ", not the "YY"...
