Ice Bear is changing the Magnum. They are taking out the solid axle and replacing it with independent suspension. I think this will really improve the ride. I will post more when I get some more information. I have to call and check on orders today so I will see what I can find out and when this change is taking effect.

Fantastic!! That woud surely smooth out the bumps quite a bit. With the solid rear axle going over bumps or small indentations in the road the whole rear end bounces at once as well as your butt comeing off the seat ;D) I wonder if due to the independent suspension they will lower the MPH top speeds on them because of the independent Differential axles. Alleyoop I am not sure about that aspect but we will see. I have talked to Ice Bear today and all magnums from now on will have the independent rear suspension. The nice thing is there is not a price increase, yet. Bad news is the next container coming in is already sold out and the shipment after that is not due until the end of June as far as Magnums are concerned. Jim

Hello from here, N. Idaho. My friend and I just ordered two IB 300cc Magnums. Should be here in a week. We got them online from a dealer in Ca. Good price but could have been better. He lied to us, if you can imagine that! Will keep you updated on the deal as we go along. I know we are going to need some help. Thanks for all the info so far...

very cool!!! I was looking at Jim's site and it said 250cc. I thougght the were 300's. Seriously considering one!! what kind of speed do you get Al? more importantly is it comfortable to ride lomg distances and how much caego weight can it carry if you wanted to say go on a 700 mile camping trip for 3 or 4 days?

One thing to consider with the new axles is the cv joints and boots, they will need to be checked almost daily to make sure the boots are not ripped, it's an excellent upgrade but also could mean more maintenance and more parts to buy.

very cool!!! I was looking at Jim's site and it said 250cc. I thougght the were 300's. Nice catch Jake, and to think this typo has been on the site for months and no one caught it. Site is fixed. I will be adding pictures of the new suspension in the next couple days. Ice Bear says the trikes have a Top speed of 75MPH and will cruise at 60 - 65. The first one I sold the customer is saying he is still having speed issues, the second one has a top of 70 the last I heard. To me they are very comfortable to ride and the independent rear suspension upgrade should improve on this esp. when you hit a hole or something with only one wheel. It should also help on hard cornering. If you want to carry a load, the back fender/cover assembly will not handle it, it is more cosmetic than functional. However, modification can be done to make it heavier. The mounting brackets are good heavy steel, it is the plastic that won't hold much weight. My first customer is in the process of doing just that, hopefully he will send me pictures. Ice Bear has a minimum price policy that says a dealer may not sell these trikes below $3995 plus shipping. My price is $4395 including shipping with drop gate service and no hidden charges. Ice Bear policy on the MCO is that it is sent to me, I sign it and send to the customer the same day. The first two I ordered the MCO was here the next day after I got the trikes delivered. Keep in mind that it is the busy season right now, so I expect a possible delay but we will see. I have a 50cc being shipped to me today, I will let you all know how long the MCO takes. The next container of Magnums is due the 10th of June, however they are all already sold. There are a couple Compellers left. The next shipment is due the end of June and as of yesterday there are still plenty left. All the 2009 150cc are sold and the new 2010 150cc does not have reverse. That is all the news I have. Jim/Owner Rapid Repair

Am looking foreward to hearing more feedback from the folks that presently have received their Magnums. My B&M is checking on IceBear now and hope he has some success. I have a Linhai 300 and couldn't be more pleased with it so far. It's too large for my little spouse so I figured this 3 wheeler would be a good match for her. Really appreciate the info on this link.

I just finished updating my site to include new pic of the new magnum with independent rear suspension and stats, also all new pics of the Compeller along with stats. Enjoy!!!!!!!! rapidrepair.webs.com/250cc.htmAlso for those of you that already have a Magnum, I talked with Ice Bear Ca today and they are checking to see if there is or will be a kit available to convert the older models. News as it becomes available. Just a word of advise, be careful, there are some "shady" sites out there stating specs and information that is not true. Ice Bear Ca is checking sites to try and make sure all is on the up and up. Doesn't take long for you to check the BBB or call the company direct before you order. That is the reason I do not have a shopping cart. I want my customers to get what they want, not a 2nd or 3rd choice, and be able to talk to a real person to ask questions, along with tech support and service after they buy. Jim/Owner Rapid Repair

Thanks for the updates & the pics, looking forward to more. When I order one for my wife, ( yeah right), I'll order it from you, (burgundy) you sound like the kind of dealer we all would like just down the road. I just checked & you are 600 mi. + from me here in Mich., not quite"just down the road", but you seem like a dealer we can trust.

Anyone have the 250cc Road Warrior yet? I have the Snow Leopard, which is the, almost, two of the RW without the chopper forks and "not needed" chrome bars. I'd love to compare notes with someone. I am female and want to do the PDI, or most of it, on my own. I ride a Honda Shadow Ace Deluxe atm but need the stability of the 3 wheels as I age......I'd love to compare notes if possible. harleyann1

Hey Jim, I just noticed checking your web-site you advertise the new Snow Leopard!!!! 2011? My "Certificate of Origin" says 2010....Dangit! I wish I'd have seen this before, but I think I ordered from a reputeable dealer, I checked multiple sites on them. Only thing is they don't have a site like this and I have to either call them or e-mail. harleyann1
