Here in New Zealand our vehicles need a " Warrant of Fitness" every 6 months. My wife's Xingyue XY150T needed it's renewed which I did today. We had a mini-summers day here (Autumn/Fall here on our side of the world) and I felt like a long scooter trip. Well I could've taken the Citycom, but taking the Xingyue on a 170km/100mile out of town trip had an adventurous ring to it. So that's what I did. Here are some pic's of what I saw. Scootaholic's heaven. typical one-lane bridge here on the south island of New Zealand. Waimakariri River Gorge. The little Xingyue just loved it, blew all the cobwebs out of it. Sat at 80-85 chinometers/hour ( phone GPS said 67-72 kph/40-45mph avg). No problems at all - even after 4800kms on it. 3.5l/100km(67mpUSg) fuel consumption on the trip. Not to bad considering it was WOT into a very strong head-wind and all the way up-hill to the mountains. These China scoots rock and they are a blast. Happy scooting.
