Every year around this time in Mount Vernon, WA is the Tulip festival. Fields and fields of tulips in various colors, which is a spectacular sight to see. This is practically in our backyard, we originally did live in Mount Vernon, before we moved to Sedro Woolley. The tulip fields bring hundreds of people to view them, and is a big deal in these parts. Supposidly the biggest display of tulips except for Holland. We go every year for nice drive by of the fields. The roads are marked with no parking along side, but there is plenty of parking for a fee of course in various lots. We did the park on side of road anyway for our picture taking, which we had to do fast since the police was out in force as well. Weather was really good, and we did a mini road trip to Marysville Tulalip casino which is 30 miles away after the pictures. Didnt win any cash, but never expect to anyway, it is for the fun. Was a fun day overall, put about 80 miles on the scooters.
