I am in need of rear shocks on my Echarm . I clicked on Ebay link it only had two items listed there . The shock springs are too bouncy even on firmest setting . I need a larger diameter spring , firmer cylinder with gas instead of oil and I think a slightly longer set of shocks should shift some weight towards the front as I know majority of the weight is on the rear .
I noticed on scooters the monoshocks tend to bottom out where the dual not as much , yet on motorcycles the goods ones have a monoshock buts its large . I saw one that was sideways instead of upright .
I have a friend that has a VW Bug (AC) he has motorcycle shocks on the rear instead of car type .
I am blown away how much some GOOD shocks cost for a scooter . I am going by a scooter/motorcycle junkyard and try my luck with some off of a motorcycle if I find a possible match

A review from Achi a respected member of our community. packagind is very nice. over all quality as visually inspected nice. just wish more color options were available. and the racing bros label is a sticker. wish it was laser etched or milled. but that would bring cost up. im not a name whore so off the stickers will come when they fade build a better shock and people will try it. my job is to try it for you. save you money. and provide honest results non lab type, 30 years of trial and error. compared to the doppler shock. alittle blingy but very nice options. really close to the tire. 140-70-13 adjustable rebound speed. also air valve for tension on down stroke. or SAG. and the tool adustable end dampening also air valve for nitro to adjust the spring rate. cool comes with a multi tool key chain. all billet one bummer is that the shock need a back up nut on the bottom so its a tite fit. lucky i own a lathe. but you can use a nut from a throttle cable skinny ones. to use on a gy6 looks pimp after sitting and boiuncing on this shock wowie i just gotta say wow. much better than the RRGS shock with the external oil can. feel is alot better so far. know i know why Japan said these are the best shocks. even beat ohlins. still gotta road test. but these are very promising. I dod not expect it to be this good honestly area808garage.proboards.com/

I have bee interested in a performance shock for my scoot, just never saw the benefit. I'm 180LBs and it never bottoms, but if there is handeling or improved acceleration to gain I'm in.

It's more than bottoming out. It's how fast the shock rebounds, and it's ability to keep the tire in contact with the road in a corner among many other features such as weight and adjustablity.

Damn, wish I would have read this before ordering my 72cc kit several weeks ago. Missed out on 10%! Oh well. Still got one hell of a deal on the entire ordeal. I will definitly be ordering more from you. Waiting on my 5g sliders to come. Thinking about that NCY variator and clutch kit you have.....
Wish you had some ebay stuff going. I love ebay.
