So I got my JCL250 on February 15th. Here in North Central WVa weve had a ton of snow this winter. During the last few days I have finally been able to get out and get a handful of miles on the scoot but today I got off work a little early and it was about 45 degrees so I decided to take a nice 30 mile round trip ride down WVa SR20. Like I said no biggie but it felt nice actually getting out and riding!! Scooter ran fine and Im guessing I have about 90-100 miles on it now. Tomorrow it's suppose to be a high of 58 degrees here so we will see where the throttle twisting takes us Chas

Don't you just love to follow a wandering scooter!?! Any ride story is a good ride story and deserves a bone. ;D

Hey thanks for the bone, my 1st one. Today it got to nearly 60 degrees. I decided to do the carb adjustment I have put off so long so I did that and then I gassed up the scooter and took off into the beautiful mountains and hills in NCentral WVa. I ended up riding 109 miles today and I took one picture of a pretty overlook dam I seen. Chas

Chas - congrats on the successful ride. I like the pic - I hope that's good fishing water. Get yourself a telescoping rod and head back there. Double the pleasure so to speak.
Have a bone on me!

Hey Chaz, glad 2 hear ur first ride was a success! Funny thing is I also took delivery of a JCL MP250A around Feb 15, its been sitting in the shed since I got it. Been doing my PDI inbetween snow storms and nor'easters here in Jersey. Other than a stone dead battery all went well. I havent been on 2 wheels in many years but finally got 2 go out 2day, WHAT A BLAST! I forgot how much fun it is and I enjoyed the scoot very much. So with good days ahead go out and have sum fun!

It sounds like we may live fairly close, Im from Cabin Creek just between Caharlesron and Beckley, would like to see if we can get a ride together some day, I enjoy these back roads too some pretty sights around here, I have road mine to Spencer and down to Pipestem and out past St Albans, so long rides arent a problem with me, drop me a note some time if u r interested in ridding
