Man, I rode to the store tonight to get some fresh juice and some cold medicine. My left ear is so plugged up that with a half helmet it sounds like I'm wearing my full face with the shield pulled down on that one side!

Sorry to hear you are feeling crummy. Another remedy I use is Theraflu. For some reason, it makes me feel a lot better. Using about a gram of vitamin C a day until it's gone won't hurt you either. Vicks Vaporub is an old home remedy that can help clear out your head, and it doesn't smell too bad. Nurses have used it for years, a dab rubbed under the nose, to deal with nasty smells... Feel better soon!

Thanks for all the suggestions. You guys are the best!
It seems like the best thing for clogged ears from cold/flu is Sudafed + Afrin Severe Congestion spray. My ear surprised me today and made popping sounds and the pressure started to go away. It startled me actually, and I felt a little bit dizzy. At least I know I'm getting better. Now when I yawn my ear gets unplugged sometimes. Sometimes is better than clogged all the way. Won't be too long now, which is nice because it's started to warm up, good riding weather. For example it's 77F right now.
